This was a great starter kit for me when I first started doing VLOGs for my YouTube channel. Advantages: br>br> br>It's small and light. br>Extruded aluminum and plastic construction. br>High-quality shotgun microphonebr>Long-lasting light batterybr>br>Cons: br>The mic holder appears to be of low quality, but it is actually quite sturdy. The wind filter gets in the way of the light and blocks it, so the aluminum bar could be longer.
This is the first time I've ever purchased a setup like this. My son wanted to start his own YouTube cooking channel, and we needed a way to record the video and audio using an old Samsung Galaxy 7. I found this setup to be simple and quick to put together. Because the microphone mount broke the second time I used it, I docked a few stars for durability. It was simply impossible to insert and remove the microphone. The mic can still be mounted, which is convenient; however, the mount is broken in the middle. It comes with a very useful carrying case. This is something I would recommend to anyone who requires a microphone and lighting system.

When you order a kit or a set of items, they're usually quite flimsy. This is not the case. Everything is in good working order. thought- out and about, and dependable Breaking these parts will take a lot of effort! The case was one of my favorite features. It's not a flimsy freebie, but rather a nice, sturdy case with plenty of room for everything. I won't have to be concerned about things getting damaged on the inside. br>br>I've only used it a few times, but I'm impressed with the sound quality. It's also directional, resulting in a more focused sound. Your camera picks up sound from all around the device without the mic, but with the mic, you primarily hear the speaker or whatever the mic is aimed at. br>br>I have yet to require the use of the light. br>br>Overall, I'm very happy with the result!.

The beauty of these accessories is that they're pretty much everything you'd need to record an interview - A directional microphone and a portable flash are mounted on a strapped handle with a cold shoe, allowing you to rearrange all of the accessories as needed. Separately, I used a lapel microphone that was connected to my phone's lightning port. br>br>I haven't had a chance to test the microphone because I have a newer iPhone with a lightning port but no audio port; if you have an iPhone 7 or newer, you'll need to purchase an additional accessory to use the microphone in this kit. br>br>The carrying case is well-made and durable.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. The windscreen may block the lighting, so make sure to adjust and keep them apart. The mic picks up better than my smartphone's, but the volume on my smartphone's mic seems to be even louder. br>It would have been nice if the mic vibration stand, as well as the light, could be rotated so that the mic could be angled from time to time. br>On the whole, it's satisfactory. This item has been used to make shuffling videos for my girlfriend's Instagram account. So far, everything has gone according to plan. It also comes with a light attachment that is extremely useful and has three settings - I haven't used the microphone in a long time because we always layer a soundtrack over the video when editing.
