When using fuses with a higher amp rating, what is the maximum amperage that this holder can handle?

With the holder we have already installed the 250A fuse. It is possible to install a 300A amp power supply if you need to use more amps.

What if I will need a 300A fuse in a few years, is this holder rated to simply replace the fuse from 250A to 300A? Doesn't this mean I won't need to buy a ?

Of course I used cooper lugs and heat shrink to assemble it, and it still worked. When you put the cover on, you feel it is secure. I was able to connect my alternator properly with the lugs it comes with.

They are 1/0 but the lugs that came with the set aren't. This is a very small book.

I was able to get the cable in the lugs without too much hassle using this with 1/0 cable. There is no heat shrink at the ends, which is a bit disappointing since they are functional. It would have been nice if there was heat shrink at the ends. But they worked fine. A second fuse that comes with the kit is also a nice touch, since the first one could blow during installation, leaving you with no choice but to order a replacement. I found this product to be easier to install due to the fact that it came with everything I needed. I took advantage of the protection provided by the terminal ends, which are quality and appear fairly durable.
