I have no complaints about this product. Our factory seat covers were fairly thick, easy to install, and heat up our butts nicely, so I installed them in a 2015 Ram Tradesman with no problems.
They can be cut horizontally, yes.
If you leave the toggle switch on, the vehicle will turn on the next time you turn it on. Mine didn't have a remote start, but it's reasonable to assume that it would be turned on if the vehicle was turned off without it.
It is dependent on the vehicle as well as your technical knowledge. I took my time and installed two pairs in my Dodge Ram over the course of a weekend. The wiring and dismantling the dash to install the switches were the most difficult parts.

I only have a windshield when I ride in the winter. I put in a seat heater, and it keeps me toasty warm. When we're writing, I set it to high for about 15 minutes and then turn it down to low for the rest of the day. I didn't want to put a regular heater in this machine, so this worked out better than I had hoped. I would buy it again. It's still going strong after a year and a half of use.
I inquired of the service technicians about the heaters' manufacturer. Rostra. So, ten years ago, I paid $55 for one for my Honda's driver's seat (my wife was unconcerned about her side). That one is still in use today. br>br>Now that my wife works near my office, we'll be commuting together, so I'm adding one on her side, which, like the last one, comes professionally packed with harnesses and enough wiring to reach the in-floor heating system. The two-way fuse panel in the cabin, as well as the two-way fuse panel in the switch to a different level My wifey will most likely have a heated seat in my cheap commuter car once the installation is finished.
Pulling up the seat cover is the most difficult part. I installed mine in a 2008 Dodge Ram without having to remove the seat; I did it while in the truck and can't tell they're there. They're incredibly warm and don't get too hot. I'm going to order a couple more heaters for my back seats.
I returned it because I didn't realize there was only enough material for one seat. They're overpriced, and they don't include enough for two seats, which I needed.
Simple to set up; It really works! They were a perfect match for my Dodge Ram pickup truck from 2005. I was fortunate in that I did not need to cut anything or remove any hog rings. After about 5 minutes on high, the seats become extremely warm. They remain warm even when switched to LOW. It's highly suggested!.
I first purchased a different brand of heated seats, which never warmed up. This is a wonderful chair. Because of how hot it gets after less than 10 minutes of driving, I have to turn the seat off or to the lower setting.
In the winter, my seat heaters keep my arms warm and toasty while also assisting my back. Excellent craftsmanship. The only issue is that the switch hoke is a little large at 20mm; I would have gone a little smaller for a better fit.
In my Ram 2500, I installed these heating pads. I wired pads into the Ram's existing wiring using OEM Dash Switches and a wiring diagram I found online.
