I like how you can introduce the main character in a variety of ways. Whether you're coming in from the side or the back, you'll want to The plastic snap-on cover could be a little more secure and tighter. Just to satisfy my OCD, I wrapped it in a band of electrical tape. The wire kept pulling out the first time I tried to bolt it in. The bolt and inner ferrule come out when you completely unscrew it, and there's a small piece of clear plastic tubing inside the ferrule. I'm not sure what it's for, but I'm guessing it's for protection or to keep the bolt and ferrule in place if the bolt is completely unscrewed? Whatever the case may be, YOU MUST REMOVE THIS. Not only will it prevent the bolt from tightening its grip on the wire strands, but it's also made of plastic, which could interfere with the conducting contact between the wire and the fuse holder. It went together like a dream once I figured that out. The fuses are in good condition, but you can easily replace them with any AMP mini ANL fuses you require.
This fuse distribution is extremely reliable. I used 8 gauge cable for one input and two outputs; the input is supposed to be for 4 gauge, but I was able to screw it down on an 8 gauge. I tugged on it and it held fine, though I did use ferrules on the cable ends to help provide some durability. This is a substantial piece of equipment. There's a lot of metal in this place. I used electrical tape to cover any holes that were not in use so that nothing touched them by accident. I used it to power a small amplifier and a subwoofer hidden beneath the seat. I was in charge of the project. The power cord is a nvx ofc power cord. I'm not sure how the gold plating will hold up in the long run, but the first impressions are good.
It's a well-known fact. I made a small fuse block and am currently putting it to use.
I'm hoping this will work well and not corrode on my boat. When a fuse blows, it lights the fuse. It appears to be in good condition.
Very simple, does the job, and makes the wire look clean and connected. This is a product that I would recommend to others.
large-scale.
VERY EASY TO USE.
Exactly what I was looking for.
