Is this part compatible with a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 2500HD? (around the beginning of 2007) body type from the past) ?

Today, I received my two key fobs. Why can I only program one of the two to work at a time when I need both of them to work at the same time?

Because the door lock module can only program a limited number of remotes at a time, you may need to erase remotes that are no longer in use. This will necessitate the use of a scanning software program.

Is this a genuine key fob?

They aren't original equipment; if you want OE, you'll have to pay at least 5 times the price of these. This is the second time I've ordered key fobs from this vendor (for different vehicles), and I've had no problems with either order. However, they have the same appearance and functionality as OE.

It's a great deal, and the remotes actually work! I'd recently purchased a used SUV that came with only one ignition key and no other accessories - There were no keys for the doors, and the keyless remote was not working
5/5

I stopped at a local automotive store in a hurry and bought a $70 remote, programmed it, and was able to lock and unlock my car doors. Great. It's not an issue. I did, however, require two additional remote controls, one for my wife and the other as a backup. I went online and found these on Amazon because I didn't want to spend another $140 on two more remotes (plus $14 for the governor and local greedy politicians). For $16, you get two. It sounded too good to be true (I once bought a remote for another car on eBay for a rock-bottom price, only to discover it was a dud). But, what the hell, I figured. If they don't work, I can always return them to Amazon, which has the best no-hassle return policy (unlike eBay, which can be a pain to deal with when dealing with their sellers' return policies). The remotes arrived two days later, thanks to Amazon Prime's free shipping. They were packaged with a business card that included a link to a website where the programming instructions could be downloaded. Using the simple-to-use I quickly programmed both remotes according to the instructions and voila, they worked! The remotes look , feel , function , and are built exactly like the one I'd bought at the local automotive parts store, but they cost me only 10 of what I'd paid It doesn't get any better than this: great price, quick shipping, and a high-quality product.

It's insanely simple to program, it's well-built, and it's ridiculously cheap

I went to AutoZone and found the same item for $70 each! Pay around $300 each if you buy them from a dealer. It's best to use Amazon's KeylessOption service. For less than $20, you can get two key fobs with programming instructions. I have a 2005 Suburban and it is a fantastic product at twice the price. br>br> br>br>1) Get into the car and turn the key in the ignition. 2) Press and hold the driver's side door unlock button. br>3) Twice turn the ignition key on and off. br>4) Let go of the unlock button. (When the locks cycle from lock to unlock, it means you've entered programming mode. ) )br>br>5) Program the remote by pressing and holding the lock and unlock buttons. The key fob is programmed when the door locks cycle to lock and unlock, which can take a few minutes. 6) Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each remote you want to program. br>br>7) When you're done, turn the key to the on position to exit programming mode. Have a good time! br>br>.

They're fantastic
5/5

So cheap. They're fantastic. So cheap and so effective. The old ones weren't working very well. I got these, but programming them for my 2006 Suburban was a little different than the instructions, but I was able to get them all reprogrammed successfully. They are in perfect working condition. (This is how my machine was set up. ) Turn ignition key on with only the key inserted, not turned, in the ignition, while constantly holding down the drivers door unlock button. off, 2 times, while still holding down the driver's door unlock button, my door locks automatically locked/unlocked PRIOR to me releasing the manually held down driver's door lock. In contrast to all other videos available on the internet, My truck was in programming mode at the time, according to the instructions. You can now depress the unlock button on the driver's door. To program all fobs, don't touch the key, pick up a fob, and simultaneously press both lock/unlock fob buttons for about 20 seconds. It takes 40 seconds to complete. Click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click Next fob has been programmed. Only do the Fob steps again, this time holding down each fob's lock/unlock button for 20 seconds. It takes 40 seconds to complete. Repeat with the remaining fobs, including any old ones that are still functional. To finish, start the vehicle by turning on the ignition. Turn off. Done. All fobs should be checked.

Z71 LS Chevrolet Silverado from 2003
5/5

They program easily and work, just like the other reviews have said. My father sold his truck 13 years ago, and instead of taking his spare, he took my spare. Since 2004, I've been using a single fob because the jerks at the dealership said it would cost around $100 to get one and program it. YES, YES, YES YES YES YES It was only recently discovered that this was not the case, and that the vehicle in question is a 2003 model. As a result, I've been a dummy for quite some time. Regardless, I followed their instructions and programmed both of these remotes, as well as my stock remote, in less than 5 minutes. And they're all functional. I use this as my primary fob, the second for an extra set of keys, and the original stock remote has been retired to the junk drawer.
