Questions & Answers

Is it true that you have all of your guts inside?

Yes, the guts are inside. lol I ordered two of these and was blown away by the price; they arrived in 3 days and function exactly like the originals. I was able to program both remotes in about 5 minutes. So, if the "guts" aren't inside, they've deceived me.

Is it possible to reprogram the trunk key to open it? For the time being, it only opens the window. ?

This FOB is for a 2001 Sable, so I'm not sure what you'll need. The unit's four buttons, including the trunk, all worked after they were programmed. As far as I'm aware, nothing on this FOB will open a window, and all of the functions are activated automatically after programming. Only the remote can be programmed in my vehicle; no other keys can be programmed.

Will this fit a Toyota Avalon from the year 1999?

Is it possible that your Fab and this one have the same phone numbers?

Is this compatible with a 2004 Lincoln LS?

Not sure. On the back of every keyless remote, there is a unique product number. Check the factory numbers and make sure they match.

Programming is simple
5/5

These are excellent value for money and perform admirably. I managed to program both of them in one go. br>br>Remember to reprogram your original remote as well, as programming these will un-program them. It (and vice versa) can be programmed. br>br>Your owner's manual should have instructions on how to program the remotes (mine is in the index under "locks"). Here's how I programmed both of these, as well as the original Ford remote: br>br> 0 br>br>0 br>br>0 br>br>0 br With the original remote control, you can unlock your car!
1. Remove the original remote from the keychain (and make sure you know what it is)br>2. Place all three remote controls in the back seat.
3. Insert the key and turn it right until the dash indicator lights illuminate. br>4 To turn off the dash lights, move the key one position to the left. br>5. Steps three and four should be repeated eight times or until the locks begin to move - For the next step, make sure the dash lights are turned on. br>6. Each remote has a button to press. For each one, the locks should be moved. This step has a time limit of 20 seconds. br>7 The dash lights can be turned off by turning the key one click to the left.
8. 20 seconds to wait - You should be able to hear the locks moving once more.
9. Remove the key, turn it off, and check the remotes. br>br>If you only need two car remotes, follow the same steps - Simply ignore the third remote's buttons.

Ford Key Fobs are a type of key fob that is used to open vehicles I requested a quote for a new key fob for the car I had just purchased from my local Ford dealer
5/5

The key fob, plus programming costs, would cost $60 to $80, according to what I was told. I bought these with the assumption that if they didn't work, I'd be out less than $10, and if they did, I'd have saved hundreds of dollars. Prior to purchasing them, I read several reviews, the majority of which were positive. Before I got the fobs, I looked up how to program them online, and when they arrived (a few days early! ), I did the same. ) I followed the instructions, and both controllers were able to lock and unlock doors as well as open the trunk. Also, the alarm is functional! This was a fantastic purchase in general.

CWTWB1U331 Key Fob (2 Pack) These key FOB fit perfectly in my 2004 Ford Taurus
5/5

CWTWB1U331 (2 Pack) Keyless2Go Replacement Keyless Entry Remote Car Key Fobbr>These key FOB work great on my 2004 Ford Taurus! br>OK, so I'm looking through the reviews for a key FOB to fit my auction car, which came with keys but no FOB. The Taurus key FOB had the fewest negative reviews, according to Keyless2Go. There are no instructions included, but there is a link to programming instructions on the package. "You can find your exact procedure in your owner's manual," according to that website. "I chose to program my FOB using the owner's manual, so that's how I did it. " The instructions are a little difficult to follow at first, but once you do, make sure you finish all of the steps with each FOB (I bought the pair). After you've followed the instructions, the door locks and unlocks, indicating that you've done everything correctly. When you press the 1st FOB lock button for 20 seconds, the car will lock and unlock, confirming that the 1st FOB has been programmed. When you press the second FOB lock, the car will lock and then unlock, indicating that the second lock has been programmed. br>After that, you can test both FOBs to see if they work, which they did for me. I walked 50 steps away and the FOBs worked fine, so the range is satisfactory. br>When purchasing a FOB, be sure to check that it is compatible with your vehicle and "CAREFULLY" follow the programming instructions. br>At first, I was a little skeptical, but now I'm convinced.

It's simple to program and the results are excellent
5/5

These were simple to set up and work perfectly in my 2001 Mercury Sable. It took less than two minutes, including the time it took to open the package. I'm very pleased with how it looks and works. 2 brand new, fully functional remote controls. in the case of my car br>To program mine, and many other Fords, simply get in the car, close the doors, insert the key, turn the ignition from off to run 8 times, ending in the run position, the locks cycle to let you know the car is in program mode, press any button on the first fob to be programmed (the locks click), then turn the ignition off and that's it.

But it's not perfect
3/5

I couldn't find a replacement battery for my current fob, so I purchased this one instead. I got two for a great price. The only thing I didn't care for were the set-up instructions (hence the three stars). There were no instructions included, only a link to a download website. I had to change my default browser to some chrome product to download when I got to the site, which I didn't want to do. I was able to complete the set up with the help of Google instructions for my Ford. It's a good product, but don't make people change their computer settings in order for it to work.

I Finally Have A Working Remote (2005 Ford Mustang) After 3 Hours
4/5

After receiving encouragement over the phone, I went to my local Ford dealership. They acted surprised when I arrived, as if they didn't know who I was talking to. Furthermore; They said they didn't have any fobs and that I could order one for $60 plus tax. I would have refused even if they had said $10 because they were wasting my time, and I would have gone to Advance Auto, where they occasionally install what they sell. Their bill came to $52. No programming is available and there is a 95 tax. Thank you, but no thanks. I realized I had another remote after receiving this order, so I swapped the insert from my broken one for the spare body. After using rubbing alcohol and a Q tip to clean it up, it worked fine. Next; After that, it was on to these two new remote controls and the product description's instructions. After that, I tried version "B," which was a complete waste of time. Version A was successful, and I now have three functional remote controls for my 2005 Ford Mustang. I'm taking away a star because I had to choose between two sets of instructions. It's 2018, and we shouldn't have to guess about which make and model of car we're talking about.

The 2005 Expedition went off without a hitch
5/5

If you do not readd the instructions for multiple remotes, the programming steps will delete your old remotes. br>br>For our 2005 Expedition, I needed to replace one of the remote controls. I purchased the two-pack in order to increase my chances of receiving a working unit. I chose one and then proceeded to program it. My wife's factory remote was disabled, but it worked perfectly. So I went through the programming steps again, this time adding a new remote as well as my wife's factory remote. Both are now in perfect working order, and my wife has taken over the new remote control. The new remote's range is at least 100', which is the distance I chose to test. br>I'll update if my wife misplaces the truck in the parking lot over the holidays and is unable to locate it using the panic button.
