Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with a Yukon Denali from 2016?

For my 2015 Yukon, it was perfect. The old case's guts slid right into the new one because it had worn out. The key does not slip out, contrary to what some people have said about this type of replacement, and I would recommend it.

Is it compatible with Tahoe 2008?

This isn't the case; it's for the year 2014. SUVs from General Motors that are newer

Is this something that will fit a 2019 Tahoe? It appears to be the same. ?

I'm confident it'll work because it worked perfectly for my 2015 Tahoe. RPO codes can be found in the glove box. It will work if the format is listed as AU3.

Is it possible to use my existing key blade to replace the one that came with it?

If this is the same as your current fob, your current key blade will fit inside.

It's a lot less expensive than purchasing a new key fob from the dealership
5/5

We bought a used car only to discover that one of the keys was in bad shape later on. We bought it after researching it and reading the reviews. What a brilliant concept! Simply remove the contents of the old key fob and replace them with the contents of the new one. We kept the old back, which read "GMC," and glued it to the new cover. Volá, on the other hand, would have no idea that it had been replaced.

This is a genuine money saver
5/5

This is a low-cost method of replacing your worn-out key fob. This fob is made up of a case, a blank "key," and a battery. electronic devices To open the case, pull out the key by pressing the small button in the lower left corner. Remove the circuit board from the old case and replace it in the new one by opening both cases. Close the case and transfer your existing key to the new one. That concludes our discussion. The old case is on top, and the new case is on the bottom, in the photo attached. br>Unlike others, I didn't have any problems with the key's locking mechanism, and both keys fit perfectly in either case. As others have pointed out, the back of this case is blank, so if you want to keep the logo, simply use the back piece from your old fob. Because the metal part of the case is attached to the front piece, even if you reuse your old back piece, you'll still get new metal. Because your FCC ID number isn't printed on the new back piece, you'll need to write it down on the inside of your old case for future reference. br>My old fob was ripped and stained, but the electronics were still functional. It would cost around $100 to replace (refurbished) my key fob. A new one, particularly from a dealer, is even more expensive; this one is a simple circuit board swap (just lift it out) with no reprogramming required. If you want a fresh, new-looking home, I strongly suggest this. key fob with a unique design Advantages: br>br>
- Getting a clean fob for a very low pricebr>- It's simple to switchbr>- a battery is includedbr>- Cons: Does not include a key blankbr>br>
- I haven't come across any so far.

This is a perfect match
5/5

My 2015 Chevrolet Suburban LT's key fob front was destroyed, and none of the buttons could be seen. Simply open them up and replace the internals. Because my old key fob had a chevy logo on the back, I decided to keep it. There is no need to do anything else because everything is in order. I'm not sure why people pay hundreds of dollars for a key and to have it reprogramed at a dealer. This is a fantastic product. I've had it for a few months and expected the writing to fade by now, but it still appears to be brand new.

The wife's fob had failed, so I had to replace it
5/5

The wife's fob was on a keychain with a million or more other keys, store discount tags, jangles, decorations, two other fobs, and who knows what else. The outer surfaces of her GMC fob were crushed, scratched, and torn apart in her purse by all those danglers. This is the case I ordered to replace the one I had before - The insides of her fob were unharmed. It took me about a minute to replace everything. simple to understand It's almost impossible to tell the difference between this and the OEM original. This is something I strongly suggest.

This is an excellent replacement for the original fob shell
5/5

Original Chevrolet emblem was kept on the back. In less than 5 minutes, you'll be done. The buttons aren't as soft as the orig, but they work fine and are probably more durable than the soft rubber buttons that came on the orig fob.

Excellent replacement for OEM
5/5

The outside rubber edges on the front of this FOB are slightly different, so it's not exactly OEM. I replaced the front cover and kept the OEM back FOB plate that says GMC. (This is the item) The rubber on the original OEM FOB was gooey and chipped. I used my original back plate to replace the front cover, which fit perfectly.

I wanted to replace the buttons on my original fob because they had worn out badly
5/5

Until I saw this, I was under the impression that I needed a complete fob that would have to be programmed. I was under the impression that it needed to be programmed as well when I ordered it, but that was not the case until I received it. When I opened the package, I discovered that it contained only the shell, which was fine because that was exactly what I required. I replaced the original shell with the new one after removing the top portion of the original fob, which was worn out. The back part was not used because it did not have the GMC logo on it. It was a good value for the money. Save your money and get this if all you need is the shell!.

My 2015 Suburant looks a lot like this
5/5

On the front, the image is a little different. Unless the old and new fobs are placed next to one another, No one can tell from one side to the other. br>2. On the back, there is no Chevy logo. We decided to reuse the old fob back, which matched the replacement perfectly. br>3. The new fob key hasn't been keyed yet. Don't toss out your old fob key; instead, replace it with the new one.
4. In addition, I purchased a rubber fob covert to protect the new casebr>br>I am very pleased and impressed with how simple and painless this swap was; nothing ever goes as smoothly for a replacement, right?.
