They program retarded people at a breakneck speed! They're also very effective! PLEASE READ THE RECENT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO THIS REVIEW. The remote start button is no longer functional after programming. The rest of the buttons are flawless. br>UPDATE: The remote controls are most likely in excellent working order. Words of Advice: You can program up to 8 remotes, but the GM system only allows you to use remote start twice before requiring a key start to reset the system. I was programming four remote controls (all of which needed to be reprogrammed) at the same time. The earlier remotes will not work unless they are programmed at the same time), and when checking the remotes, only the first two will activate the remote start feature. After a key start, the next two remotes will function flawlessly.

I own a 2007 Tahoe, so when I got these in the mail, I went to the website listed on the card that came with the fob packaging. In less than a minute, I had my truck's specific directives on my phone, which was still faster than the time it took me to program both fobs I purchased! It could have been thirty seconds. br>br> Tops. Switching out key rings is by far the most difficult task. But no one is to blame for this except the split keyring's creator. br>br>I'm overjoyed to have all of my keyless features back, including automatic start and the hatch buttons on the fob! br>br>I hope this information is helpful to someone in making a decision, because I could not have made a better choice for my fob needs!.

Except for one thing that I'll explain in the note below, these worked great and the directions were simple. The strange thing about these was that they had a button for opening the tailgate as well as a button for opening the back glass window. But only ONE of them worked, and it opened the window (despite the fact that the icon indicated that it was the tailgate). The window icon had no effect). So, once I understood the note below and accepted the oddity with the rear window/tailgate buttons, it worked perfectly. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be "Press the vehicle information button until you hear a beep," said the instructions. (Which, in my opinion, means HOLD IT. ) "Press the vehicle information button REPEATEDLY until," it SHOULD have said. (which would correctly indicate that you're scrolling through options. ).

It only took a minute to program! For my 2009 Yukon, I purchased these. After reading the directions, I was able to get the Yukon's "program key" feature to work in less than a minute. All functions, including remote start, work flawlessly, and at this price, even if they only last a few months as some reviewers claim, I can get a dozen of these for the price of dealer service and their key fob.

I was worried that I would have to pay more to have these programmed, but thanks to the online instructions, I was able to program them in less than 5 minutes and on the first try. All of the buttons in my 2007 Chevy Suburban activated each of their intended applications, and they had a longer activation distance than my old key fobs. Would have given 5 stars if not for the fact that I always have to give items time to see how long they last; however, I am very pleased with them, the price, and the ease of programming!.

I had a new one programmed for $75 at our local Sears, but one of the buttons was broken, so I didn't buy it. The remote was $150 and programming it was $35 at my local dealership. I made the decision to purchase the remotes from Amazon and program them myself. The remotes came with instructions on how to program them via a website link. The instructions were very clear, and finding the right setting in my car and activating the remote took literally seconds! This purchase has exceeded my expectations. All of the buttons in my car function properly and open and close everything that needs to be opened and closed!.

It's possible that you won't be able to program your own computer. I have a 2011 Tahoe, and it appears to be one of the few model years where the FOB programming cannot be done by the car owner through a menu on the dash. I had to bring these FOBs to my dealership, where I was charged $65 to program both of them. These FOBs are significantly less expensive than those sold by the dealership, so purchasing them is still a good deal - However, you should be aware that you may not be able to program them yourself and that you will incur additional costs to get them working (this is not the seller's fault; it is a Chevrolet problem!). br>br>Overall, the product works *perfectly* and is an excellent value for the money.
