It's a deep, luscious shade of red. It's the same color as my Terrain GMC truck. This does not appear to be a low-cost product.
It is simply a silicone/rubber cover that you place over your key fob remote device; the cover does not come with the key fob. Make sure you get the right size key fob before you buy. This cover will not fit your key fob if it does not look like the one shown. You can enter your vehicle information on Amazon to ensure you're buying the right parts for your car. I believe it would fall under your account. I really like mine; I got the blue, and it's a beautiful color. I received it in July 2020, and the color is still vibrant and the cover is securely fastened to the key fob.

This case holder jacket has gotten three compliments: br>1) Prevents accidental button presses (just a little bit of the raised edge helps ensure the button isn't pressed while in your pocket)br>2) The fit with my 2014 Malibu's key fob is perfectbr>3) The shiny blue color finish hasn't worn off or become badly scratched since I bought it and it is always in my pocket with multiple metal keys. It has a nice appearance and has proven to be long-lasting. It's pre-installed on a new remote control (ASIN: B00Y1HPZUS is a product number that can be used to identify a product. which, by the way, is also very effective). It fits like a glove and doesn't interfere with the operation of the remote's buttons or key.
My 2015 Chevrolet Malibu's key pod would not close properly. It would shatter, and the small pieces would scatter all over the place. Nothing seemed to work with super glue, elmers glue, or hot glue. When I was looking for a new keypod, I came across this cover and decided it would be worth a shot for the price. I'm so happy I bought it. It fits perfectly and now I don't have to worry about my keys falling apart; it's thin enough that it doesn't seem to add too much bulk to my keys, but thick enough that I think it'll last a long time; it does make the little button you press to release your key stick out less than I'm used to, but I've gotten used to that. This cover is fantastic, and I'm so glad I found it.

The perfect themed trifecta is complete when combined with the little chrome LED addon and underlying black fob! There will no longer be any generic black keyfobs available.
It turned out to be just a cover, not the snap-on case I was expecting. That's fine with me; I bought a second one for my mother, and both blues appeared to be nearly identical to the photo. I've only had it for a few months, but it's already proven to be a reliable companion.

They claimed they were unaware it was missing and that they would be unable to replace it. I'm kicking myself for buying my 2015 Chevrolet Sonic from them, but at least this keyfob case is thick and sturdy enough to fool me into thinking my battery cover is still there.
