Strong and heavy is the word to describe this Definitely the best built you'll find in this era. I have the 2nd gen Type R 12 with a 600 watt Rockford amp, and it flexes the roof in my 19-inch truck. Every aspect of it is above and beyond the typical boxes you find This is an item well worth spending a bit more on.

Before you purchase, make sure it fits. A 10" Rockford Fosgate P3 will fit just fine on this. I find it strange that in sub boxes, the carpeting is black, whereas the box itself seems to be well made. * The quick connect terminals are a nice touch and the interior insulation is a nice touch. A few weeks back I purchased some Sundown Audio SA8D2's loaded in a home built enclosure that was a bit smaller than the specs and also had a lot of port noise. I installed the same Sundowns in this Skar enclosure and they are fabulous!.
