There are several reviews that mention that the speakers are not as good as expected, and I honestly have no idea what they were expecting because these speakers are seriously impressive. My car literally vibrates as if I had a subwoofer, even though there is no special audio system in place. My factory speakers were literally swapped for these and I still have my 2018 Jeep Renegade's factory stereo, which has the same factory speakers. It was only the adapter for the speaker that I purchased to enable it to plug into my car's speaker connector, so I just purchased the speakers themselves. It is hands down the best purchase of my life. This is a placeholder page for An engineer who works with sound.
I think this is a very well made pair of speakers that looks really good. They immediately came out back and ordered Kicker CS series after a few minutes of testing. Compared to the Kickers, the sound is SO MUCH better overall. This may be due to the fact that I'm using only the stock head unit and these JBLs are meant for more power. The Kickers I had in my Dodge Dart also came from my previous car. Then I think that would be the ideal solution if you were only seeking to upgrade the speakers in a Dodge, Chrysler, or Jeep.
It's great to hear these I've tried many of the JBL brand and am really pleased with these. It can deliver better bass than many other options, even those that are more expensive. Without getting into the science of the cone material and why it is more capable than the brand you like, just know that this model can beat out any brand. There is a need for a little power in these. I think 45 watts might be enough, and they wake well. added some sound deadening to my 2016 Highlander and I can now hear the low end better. Despite its lack of deep deep bass, it fills the mid bass area well.
It sounds like they are It is NOT compatible with my Chrysler Town & Country. They even list cars that are supposed to work with this item. My car is listed as compatible, and it, too, should be able to work with this item. I cannot however use the speakers because of their size. In order to get my stock speakers back in, I will require a mechanic to make modifications to the insides of my doors. I am not sure what effect that may have on future installations of aftermarket speakers, but I can no longer use the stock speakers. What is the point of putting out a list of cars that are compatible, if it isn't 100 percent Dimensions are literally what it comes down to. It is not accurate in what way?.
The resistance should be If you have an OEM head unit, this is perfect for you. 1. 2. The bass is fantastic. Bass is amplified a lot by the JBL cone. This is true even when new speakers are used and the motor has not been broken in yet. The third item It has a nice crossover between the mid-range and high. This is great if you want to emphasize vocals or tone them down. I've never seen such an awesome speaker before!.
I have installed these speakers in the front doors and head unit of my 2006 Toyota Tacoma It was absolutely amazing to hear the noise. When choosing these speakers, I followed their heritage with the T545's. I am a big fan of quality sound and output. A clear high is present without being overpowering, the midrange is natural and easy, and the bass is solid. My shirt was so big I had to tone it down because I am middle aged and I don't like to attract unwanted attention from thieves. As for music, I mostly listen to news talk (news talk is my favorite music) but I'm also a fan of classic rock and 80's music. The OEM 6x9 comes with a larger mounting bracket than most. As well as the bracket that holds the cone to the mounting bracket, I cut these pieces out. When I mounted the JBL speakers to the mounting bracket, the speaker leads were left on the bracket as long as possible so I didn't have to cut into the OEM connector when wiring the new speakers. Putting your fingers into the truck doors will make sense once you do this.
The speakers did not sound as good as the old speaker I was looking to replace, so I sent them back. In order to return the item, I had to pay for.
A new set of factory speakers was installed in my 2019 Silverado. We used speaker wire and adapters to mount them. It was noticeable how much better the sound quality and bass was. It wasn't my intention to replace the dash speakers too, but after hearing the new speakers, my view has changed. The sounds you know in songs you had never heard before will be heard by you in new songs. With crisp and clear highs and mids, these speakers produce a full range of sound. The bass is also substantially improved, as is the midbass. As a result of being somewhat flimsy and loose fitting, I did apply some sound deadening (Home Depot/Lowes peel and seal stuff) around the plastic adapters (purchased separately). Putting the 6 in now is likely to be my next step. To balance the system, we had 5 GTOs mounted in the back doors. Spending money well was a great decision!.
