Questions & Answers
They have a 4 ohm impedance.
Depending on the wattage of your head unit, they will work and provide adequate sound without one. However, with an amp, they sound much better.
Yes, each pair comes with two speakers and is brand new in the box.
I'd say No Amp if you're not using a subwoofer and using the stock head unit. I didn't use an amplifier, and the sound quality is fantastic! My fake speakers aren't even close to this level of volume.

I bought these to replace the stock ones in my 2013 Ford F150, which were crappy. They have a much better sound quality and are well-fitting. My purchase was a great success!.
I wired it up to a Sony XAV-D1 receiver. AX100. Many reviews stated that without amplification, the bass was lacking. Well. in the case of myself That could not be further from the truth. Bass is absolutely fantastic! I'm coming from a system with ten speakers and two JL W6V2 12" subs, so I wasn't expecting much when I switched to four of these in my new truck. It exceeded my expectations in every way! br>br>I like how it's broken down into components, keeping the bass and higher frequencies separate. In all types of music, you can clearly hear the difference. Nothing is distorted in any way. The mirrors are lightly shook by Bass. br>br>I've built a few custom systems, and four of them, without an amp, outperformed a 10-speaker Sony Audio Ford Fusion sound system. Much better bass clarity and modulation, much crisper and clearer. Every instrument can be heard clearly with these speakers. br>br>I bought these on Black Friday for $30 each pair, so I bought them solely for the price and didn't expect them to be as good as they are. br>br>If you already have an upgraded headunit wired into the stock harness and stock speakers, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Even if it's just a stock upgrade with a stock headunit. It doesn't take much power for these to deliver excellent results.
wow! I installed four of these in my F350 in the hopes of getting better mids and highs than the factory speakers, which were powered by the head unit rather than an amplifier. I didn't buy these for earth-shattering bass because I planned to add a 10" sub after I fixed my mid-and high-frequency problems. It was a breeze to set up and turn on the Pioneer AVH-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I was thinking to myself, "How can they sound any worse?" when I heard the 2500NEX. Under medium volume, there is terrible crackling and clipping. I was about to pull them and return them when I realized that I should first reset all of the previously saved audio settings and start over. Everything was brought to a flat state, with no bass boost, no loudness, and no EQ. I went into the crossover settings and turned on the HPF to limit, and the sound was instantly cleaner. From there, I started tweaking the EQ one by one, turning up the volume, listening for distortion, and making adjustments as needed. I did this for about 2 hours, with a variety of songs (rock, hip hop, electronic, alternative, and country). Sorry for the inconvenience, neighbors. I cranked it up once I was satisfied that each EQ band was set to my liking, and holy cow. The highs are crystal clear, the mids are crisp and perfect, and the lows are present but not particularly impressive. There is no distortion, though. Last weekend, I added a Cerwin Vega 10" self-powered sub (also available here) and wow, I wouldn't change a thing. My audiophile friend (who spent over $8,000 on a stereo for his boat) was astounded by the amount of sound and clarity produced by these speakers and my setup. He's now considering the same setup for his truck (which already has a factory Bose) because it sounds so much better. Look for a different speaker if you don't want to spend the time or don't know how to fine-tune them. However, you can't go wrong for the money if you know how to tune and are willing to put in the time to make the necessary adjustments.
I installed these in the front doors of my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, which is powered by the stock head unit. The inner door (metal, not plastic interior panel) was then screwed directly to it. For a 6. These things sound incredible, especially with the 5" speaker. The bass on this track is incredible. No, it's not groundbreaking, but if that's what you're after, get a subscription. Also fantastic are the highs. Overall, a well-balanced speaker at an affordable price; I'll keep these in mind for future needs.
For the past 20 years, I've relied on Rockford Fosgate car audio products. I've never been disappointed by the brand, from tweeters to mids to woofers and subwoofers! The P132 is a fantastic drop-in replacement for the P132. I've installed these in the last three vehicles I've owned as a replacement for blown or aged factory speakers with plenty of sound quality and dependability. I've never been able to blow a Rockford Fosgate speaker in my life! Highly recommended, and I'll keep buying them.
br>I still haven't gotten them properly installed in my Saturn Vue from 2005. They are compatible, according to the Amazon website. When I tried to install them myself, I discovered that the factory speaker is angled and there are seven holes in the door. 25"! I've been looking for the right adapters for months and have had no luck! So I have two new speaker sets that are just sitting in boxes, and I'm not sure what to do with them. Totally let down! br>br>**I'm sorry, but I don't have any more. Thank you very much.
The speaker has a fantastic sound. I've used Rockford for all of my subwoofer needs since I was a kid, but I've never used their speakers. For my new car, I just bought a set of JBL speakers. I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of low-cost options. end. But when I saw these, I decided to replace my new speakers with them. I can't express how grateful I am that I was able to do so. The amount of bass produced by 6 1/2-inch speakers is limited, but I was pleasantly surprised. br>br>The speakers are, in the best possible way, very heavy. They have a solid feeling to them. I should also mention that I'm using these with the stock head unit. At four ohms, they can handle 5–55 rms of power. They also have a terrific sound. You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase. They're a fantastic find for the money.
Right now, I'm in the back doors of my 2008 Mazda 6. Allow a few weeks to break them in so they can reach their full potential. Connect them to an amp or equalizer with a separate subwoofer so you can tailor the frequency range to their needs. Not only will they sound better, but their lifespan will also be extended because you won't be able to blow them out with low bass that they can't physically produce.
