Nothing more than a new model.
You can avoid cutting factory wiring by using one of the many adapters available. Metra is a well-known brand.
If that's the case, grills and covers aren't included. They're hidden behind a factory cover in the vehicle for my installation.
Yes - It was small enough to fit into my bag - You'll need to bend the terminals outward a little so they don't make contact with the door's metal. I soldiered the wire to the contacts to make it fit even tighter. The speaker will fit perfectly if you work it in carefully. The sound quality is far superior to the car's original speakers! You'll be astounded at how much better things have gotten. I also needed to add a few inches of speaker wire to get it to the terminals because the factory speakers only have so much wire.

Wow! Excellent craftsmanship and crystal clarity. highs that are crystal clear.
In my Saab convertible's dash, I installed these. Kicker DSC 3 was one of the games I was playing. For the past three years, 5" speakers have been installed to replace the factory speakers. These sound a million times better. The audio is consistent and smooth. The Kickers use a lot of harsh high tones in their music. It was too much with the top up. They were fine if the top was down. These Infinity are a significant improvement! These were something I should have done from the start.
It's possible that your door speakers will outperform yours! In my 2014 Ram 1500 Crewcab, these replaced the stock dash speakers. First and foremost, these needed to be replaced before my 6x9 door speakers could be replaced. They literally outperformed my stock 6x9s (except for bass), with the minds and highs being so clear and loud that I couldn't hear my door speakers without drastically adjusting the fade. Later, I added the JVC CS- There are 6930s in each of the four doors. In comparison to my stock speakers, the sound quality was excellent. Here's where it all goes wrong. The infinite number three. The JVC 6x9s are still outperformed by the 5s. To hear the door speakers, I still have to use a lot of fade. I'm going to replace the door speakers with the Infinity Referrence 6x9 3 way door speaker for the second time. I'm hoping that this will help to level out the sound without causing it to fade too much. The Infinity Refference 3 is without a doubt the best. The sound quality of the 5s is exceptional.
Wowsers! It's crystal clear, and it even adds some bass. These three, oddly enough, My factory 6x9 speakers are matched, if not overpowered, by the 5" speakers. I'm excited to get two sets of the Infinity reference 9623 IX for the front and back doors. If they're as good as these three, they'll be a great upgrade. I couldn't believe how much better the 5" speakers were than the factory ones; I can't wait to hear how good this truck sounds. br>br>I ordered these along with the $27 harnesses to make the installation process go more smoothly, but the harnesses shipped the same day as the speakers and were supposed to arrive in a week or so. They could arrive sooner, and if they do, I'll be disappointed in the seller's sloppy shipping information, but I couldn't wait a week for the harness, so I did it the hard way. br>br>I removed the factory connectors from the truck's wires and spliced in an extra 4-foot cable. 6 inches of wire was added to the factory wires, and each wire was given a speaker connection. After that, I tested the radio by plugging it into the back of the speaker. The sound quality has greatly improved, and I am extremely satisfied. I'll order the 6x9 door speakers and harnesses again in the future and try to be more patient next time because there's a chance the quality will suffer if I do it the hard way, but I couldn't wait. It would be nice if Infinity included a wiring harness with these speakers so that you didn't have to go looking for one elsewhere. br>br>Overall, these little boomers have exceeded my expectations. After cutting the factory harness and hard wiring in new connectors on the positive and negative wires for each speaker, I attached a screenshot of the information I used to correctly connect the speakers. Take it to a professional if you're not sure what to do. I'm not a professional, and I'm not here to tell you what you should do. I'm simply demonstrating my work.
All of my OEM Factory speakers have been replaced with Infinity Reference Speakers. They have excellent sound quality and are designed to fit perfectly. It's turned out to be the best investment and money I've ever made. I'm an audiophile, so believe me when I say you won't be disappointed. The sound is said to be too bright by some reviewers. The Infinity speakers that came with the system were too dim. What a difference a day makes. I'm completely overjoyed! This is something I should've done a long time ago. I'm not sure what I was expecting!.
Impedance claims are used in marketing. I bought these for my 2011 Ram with a premium Alpine 2 ohm system because of the manufacturer's OEM impedance compatibility (marketing hype) and excellent efficiency/frequency specs. The manufacturer claims the speakers are "True 4 ohm" rated, which is false. The speakers improved the sound quality significantly, but I was disappointed by the impedance claims that were inaccurate.
These are too loud, even though I have 210W 6" x 9" JBLs in the front doors (which I replaced with el cheapo 6. There are 5" speakers). No amplifier is required because the stock stereo pumps out 50 watts per channel, and because I use high impedance speakers, the stock unit drives them to the point where I can't listen to them at full volume. With these, you'll get sharp highs and lows in your dash. I soldered in a 60watt JBL CLUB3020 3 during the bolt-on process. 5 2- I put way into my Priuses' dash speaker connector harnesses, but I bought four for my Camry. I used pin plug connectors because I didn't want to solder and wanted a quick 10 minute installation. These Infinitys sound slightly better than JBL and are a significant upgrade for cars like the Camry, where speakers are the cheapest of the cheapest. They're so bad that Toyota makes 6x9 plastic molds with six holes in them. They're equipped with 5" speakers. Sure, I upgraded both the front door and the back deck speakers to superior 6x9 speakers. And there are two toy joke speakers in the dash. In the 1980's, a 5" was designed. The factory stereo, on the other hand, was excellent. Because this is the simplest dash upgrade, you owe it to yourself to get rid of those OEM el cheapo speakers that only take 10 minutes to replace with a single screwdriver and a 10mm wrench.
