In the beginning, they were half that size, but they dropped to half that size as production increased. There is a very high end system consisting of ten (10) channels in which my amps are located A total of eight (8) of which pass through two of these amplifiers. On the whole, the system is about a $15,000 stereo, and this amp has all of the quality you'd expect from a system of that calibre. By using the amp's info lights, you can set the gains to safe levels without using an external device, so installation is fairly simple. Don't be fooled by its small size, this amplifier packs quite a punch in terms of performance. In fact, it's not that there is less amplifier in it that's small. This is because the cooling process is active as opposed to passive (i. e. A cooling fan is attached to it). The heat is not spread widely, which means it can be concentrated in a small space. The only component that needs to be installed is a heat sink, because fans just blow heat away. There are no problems with the electronics, and the cooling solution allows for a smaller size.

The main reason is that it can run at 4x the power of other 4-watters. The Constant Power circuitry is responsible for the channel amps. There won't be any difference in volume when you run 4 speakers, regardless of their impedance load. It's like placing an impedance load at the end of a wire - it's the same. Maintaining your amps at a cool temperature will not result in any noticeable sound volume loss. It's amazing how good this product is!.

The accompanied birth certificate shown the amplitude of my 2018 Street Glide amp. I am extremely impressed with the finished product. I am glad I added the amp to my Glide. Another company does include a Birth Certificate in their amplifier, but I am not familiar with them. It took less than an hour to install the amp, which came with all the wiring needed as well as a CD which could be transferred to a thumb drive to properly tune the amplifier. The Rockford Fosgate Saddle Bag Speaker kit and the 6 were also added. The fairing speaker has a 5-inch diameter. In comparison to stock speakers, there is a significant improvement in sound.

The sound is amazing! Besides this amp, four rockford speakers, and a wiring kit with a heat sink you do not need anything is amazing to listen to, and even at 75 mph it is still loud enough to hurt your ears at high volume

The only problem with it is the brackets kit to put it on top of the radio do not work. I had to Velcro it to the top radio as they swore that bracket would work. Other than that, it sounds awesome.
