Questions & Answers
There is a possibility of bridging the amp into 2 channels (100W) and running some 4 Ohm While it won't give you any crazy levels of performance or drive the woofers far, if all you're looking for is some added bass, then yes it will help.
There is a recommendation for a wire kit with 12 gauge wire. A gauge of 8 gauge should be okay, anything bigger could pose a problem
It looks like Alpine provides a one-year warranty. If you are experiencing no sound when you turn the unit on, make sure your remote is turned on. There are no issues with the power connection, and the ground cable is good.

My faulty reasoning might explain the design decision or this might be the product design decision made by Alpine engineering Watching a humaninteracting with it is better than just going ahead. So, where ever you are with this, don't forget to pay attention to the switches if you have it and it sounds great but has zero bass or you want to buy it. The instructions refer to flipping the switches "up" or "down" in reference to the six switches, and each one is numbered 1 through 6. This bad boy might seem enticed for you to turn it over so that 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 are upright and read left to right. The idea that flipping up a switch puts it in "up" position is correct. This is incorrect. Your idiotic behavior is down. How did you feel at that moment? You should flip this over so all the numbers are upside down and then flip a switch upward. That's all I got for now. This is "up". I think it would probably be not so difficult to put a "A" and a "B" on the side of the switches and have the instructions refer to those, but this thinking is what is keeping me from working Although things might look good when you get it from the manufacturer, all switches (as I received them) were in the "up" position. Accordingly, the default values are as follows Please continue reading. . . By feeding it, you are telling it to do things you want it to do It is best to use RCA inputs instead of level inputs-- Please select your channel mode* - Full frontal, 120 Hz high-pitched The filter will pass - In the rear, 120hz high-quality The pass filter sounded pretty crisp, even with every setting incorrect. 5 out of 5.
According to the installer, the installation of the device was quick and easy. I have indeed had a few positive moments, but I can't really say I have many because the amp has clearly been acting up for the past two There were times when the head unit would come on but there would be no front or rear speakers (only the subwoofers would work). The speakers would not work until I power off the vehicle a couple of times in order for the amp to "activate. ". It's now causing spikes in volume, which is causing me problems The radio is available on all sources including Bluetooth and USB. Usually, they occur while a vehicle is idling or at a speed and are caused by a sudden change in speed or sitting still. My original one has already been replaced because it was so annoying.
Great sound quality, great price, no space wasted with this amp! Paired with my Alpine ILX650
Perfect combination, no room wasted, no space wasted, great sound quality.
It doesn't take much to make this lil guy scream! It almost sounds too good to replace the stock speakers, but I nevertheless ordered the complete set of 6 speakers and an amp for them. I would order speakers after KTA is installed if I were to do it again.
If you choose this amp, you will not be disappointed. The difference between my stock speakers and those with this upgrade was enormous. then paired it with Alpine's ILXW60 - what a great combination! The installation was easy. There is only one tricky part, and that is setting the dip switches for the different channels you intend to use. The instructions must be read carefully to ensure an easy installation and avoid damage to the amplifier. After receiving the item, I was surprised to see that it is a large item, which makes it convenient to mount.
It's spectacular and is simple to install. The sound quality of this video has been recognized by a few awards.
It was installed by the geek squad with Alpine speakers that I purchased with the Alpine head unit from Best Buy. The Alpine 445 and 450 power amplifiers were out of stock when I got there, so I have to wait for the third attempt to try to get this unit to work on June 22. It has been fixed twice by the geek squad and the problem still persists.
