Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how noticeable the rolling shutter skew is on this camera? Or how does it compare to a camera like a red or alexa that has smooth movement?

The rolling shutter is not too bad, but still visible when using a camera that suffers from it. On the other hand, there is a "low jello" mode in 4k APSC mode that significantly reduces it.

It's hard to beat a DSLR cameras that can run and gun and a cine camera that can shoot frames per second
5/5

war, so everything I need to shoot is on my back and I carry two cameras. For art and master shots, one Sony A7 with Leica rangefinder lenses will be used, and one ENG-style camera for run and gun. As soon as I picked the Sony PXW-70, I decided to buy it. I tried to create everything I needed with FX9 XDCAM 6K, but to do so required creating a monster the size of a freight train, and to do RAW I would have to purchase an additional module. The PMW is worth it even if it has been used In terms of weight and cost, the F55 is larger and heavier than a standard In terms of its camera, the Panasonic S1H is an excellent choice, but it becomes cumbersome once it is rigged for audio and Ninja V. I'm a Z- In the mid-range there are cameras like Cam, which fall between a handy $4K Sony or Lumix with lots of cables dangling here and there, and huge professional video rig like the $10K Sony with a full frame sensor. In addition to the camera, you'll need cables, batteries, Ninja, cage, audio recorder, etc. So there's no reason to spend more than $10K for something that performs Trying stripping it down to the basics, then choosing a Lumix or Canon or Sony would be a good choice. Depending on your needs, you may want to buy this camera for its sensor or for its low light handling. It seems odd that they are selling it out of the box for Canon, since it's more appropriate for Leica, Nikon or L systems instead. It is absolutely crucial to use an ND filter and I am not sure if water and dust play a role in These cameras were designed with a lot of thought and thought by Z Cam, a spunky little company worth checking out. A good battery life is delivered by this device. Have a complaint? Several exposed holes can be found in the back, but no rubber caps or covers are present. Do not waste your time on auto focus or sexy SLR still pictures. Today's computers have an internet cable connection, but where is it located? The standard tripod threads built into the camera are a nice touch, but eventually a cage will be needed. Perhaps it's time to make a "PRO" model with a few XLR jacks, Bluetooth audio monitoring, iPad pro mount, and a tripod and viewfinder with pro thread size. It would almost be perfect if this could be accomplished however, I am not complaining since I know how much hard work went into making this product competitive with Sony, Arri, and other pro cine manufacturers. My congratulations go to Kinson Loo for his product and vision.

We are shooting in 6K ProRes and at high dynamic range! So far, I like this camera a lot
4/5

There is a great deal of dynamic range in this picture. It is nice to be able to shoot in 10 bits versus shooting in 8 bit. I was previously shooting in The fact that it has a larger color space and a higher bit rate is also nice. A nice feature of the camera is its in-body software. There is no lag on the menus and nothing is hard to find. In spite of this, I was not able to get the wireless monitoring to work using Z cam. Shooting primarily in 6K with ProRes LT at 24 or 48 frames per second has been my main mode of operation. A great feature of this camera is the ProRes video format. In addition to HEVC, other cameras in this class shoot MP4, which is highly.

Not quite perfect, but close enough for me to be pleased
4/5

It's almost a perfect video camera, but I am very sure that its progress will continue until the company is able to update its firmware regularly.
