You can set a $20 bill on fire for a better illumination. The program did its job for a couple dives, but after that I didn't use it for several I was surprised to find that the light wasn't functioning when I went back to use it a few months later. No matter how much the battery was charged, it did not turn on. Well, I'm going to dive this month and need a light, so I thought it might be a good idea to give these guys another I made a huge mistake there. It turned on itself and would not turn off again after about 20 minutes in. By this point, the light had completely quit working. In the end, the battery died, after which the light stopped working. My short story is that I gave these guys two chances, and they failed both times. I am willing to pay a lot more for a well-made gopro light, but all I have been able to find so far I wasted my money. I encourage you not to do the same.
My Go Pro 7 is mounted in an underwater housing so I can use it with it. I'm sorry to report that both the housing and the GoPro failed (only at 35ft), but we tried it! The light was amazing, but this was the real A manta dive involves diving on the seafloor and shining bright lights up right next to you while you sit there. Similarly, the plankton attracts the rays and the rays attract the lights. Your interaction with them goes something like this you sit there, as they glide around you and lightly skim the top of your head as they feed off your light beams. As long as I had this light AND the flashlight that I had been issued, I was a manta ray magnet! One of the highlights of my life, this was an incredible light show! This was one of the best light shows I have ever seen. I was able to take some photos and record a short video clip, but my GoPro stopped working shortly after, but this light was amazing! I may not have known that it could be used with the go pro cage and underwater housing but it was foolproof I didn't charge it, but it still operated the entire dive (about an hour) and I didn't replace the battery. As well as being easy to rinse off the salt water after diving, it was also easy to rinse off my clothes. This light is a great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it! The only thing you need to watch out for is not to shine it in anyone's eyes because it is very bright and could be harmful. In addition, the pulsing light option is great because it simulates the signal a diver would make with a flashlight in the dark underwater to alert their dive masters or friends to an impending emergency. You should definitely pick this up if you're looking for a cheap dive light to go with your GoPro (assuming it works)!.
I love this light on so many levels. It has a high setting, which is very bright, and a low setting, which is mildly bright. Rather than having this light toggle between the center LED, then the outer two LEDs, then all three LEDs, I think it would be better to have it toggle between those. I understand why strobes are there for my case, but I don't see the point for the existence of them. In my opinion, the button for this light must be mounted on the other side, whenever I mount it on my dual mount, the button goes on the inside, because I mount my camera so that I have access to power and SD card. This forces the switch to be on the other side. Is that a good deal Yes, I do! I love the brightness! Does it work well for the purpose I have in mind? The dual mount for walking or riding in vehicles can be placed next to the camera no matter what. A different light will probably work better for me in my next set-up, and I'll look a little closer and make sure that it works. It's no use sending it back, after all, some things are won and some things lost. There is no point in giving it 3 stars on battery life, simply because I have not used it for a long period of time. As this is a smaller battery, I don't expect more than 2 hours of use in normal conditions, which is why I would appreciate access to the charge port to power it. 4 out of 5 stars for value, it is definitely worth I gave it a 5 because it had a lot of brightness. The best in the world. As far as I am concerned, it's kind of useless for me, as the power button cannot be accessed without removing the mount, and I cannot just plug it in to power without taking the rear door off, which I will do so it works and doesn't make noise.
It's amazing how much light it adds at night in the woods. Ride at night in the woods with a KTM 690 Enduro R and you will be amazed! Although I have not water tested it yet, judging from handling and charging it seems to work fine. And I am guessing when riding in the rain, it will work just fine too. Obviously you can also use this light for scuba diving I guess I'll have to try that out. Generally, I found it to be a great light at an even better price. I would recommend two others as well.
It's a bit dim, but it will do what I need. The entire thing is made from plastic, so I don't think it would survive dropping. The part of a camera that extends from the top. Snapping off the connector wouldn't be an option. This is a decent action camera mount that works well with action cameras. I guess it is worth the price. I love it! On an action camera, it isn't going to survive much action due to its lack of durability. All it takes is a drop or a fall to destroy it. This item is made of Perhaps better suited to a water environment than a land one.
I LOVE them so much. Here's an update. In 2020, I ended up having to return them because they leaked on the very first dive. This is my third set of these, and I have not had any problems. My camera rig also contains two, one on the charger, one in my bag and one in my bag. My experience with the diving has been very positive so far.
The device has only been used so far in spray or splash conditions, but it does not have any water inside. I managed to resist temperatures of 140 degrees Fahrenheit without any problems.
While the battery in the light is small, it runs the light much longer than the built-in battery in my GoPro. A new one can also be installed easily.
I was very happy with how bright and durable the product was. The picture becomes much more detailed due to this feature.
