I don't remember needing anything else since I've been gone so long. Is there anything else that needs to be done? Could someone else tell me?
Founded in 2003, ProAm USA offers a wide range of high quality products. This company, which was founded a few years later, is based in India. Due to confusion, we decided to add the USA to our name. We have a 3/8" bolt that connects to the Stand Adapter on our Crane Stand so the camera crane can connect to it. Thanks for your help! ProAm USA thanks you for supporting us, and I appreciate your support

If you go to Guitar Center, you can get a Speaker Stand that comes with an extension pole and a "sleeve" adaptor. This is pretty much the same thing AS a speaker stand, but you will probably have to drill a hole through the sleeve and figure out how to fix it to the stand so it won't twist and turn when you rotate the jib. Buying the washers and lock nuts at Lowe's will take an hour, then drilling the hole will take another hour, and then you'll forget that you need a couple washers, a thumb nut, and a lock Thus, you will once again have to spend an hour at Lowe's. some grease will keep everything rolling smoothly so you do not have to do that again. Buying this is the best decision you'll make. We enjoy working with this product and its people. From the time I opened the box until I had my Jib on the stand and I started playing with it, it took me about 3 minutes. In fact, I took it to a wedding the next day, and it worked flawlessly even on soft ground/grass and on sloped ground.
As I wasn't yet ready to shell out three or four hundred dollars on a truly good tripod, I opted for the ProAm jib stand, which supports up to one would have preferred ProAm to make the mounting cup that goes over the mast with a large tightening knob. I think that small knob may have been added to reduce the likelihood of counterbalance weights striking the larger knobs when they are in use. It's not too difficult to tighten, but you need a vice. It goes without saying that I have two other jibs by ProAm, and I am using the same stands for them without a hitch. It was not difficult to fit a heavy duty fluid tripod head to this jib stand, other than the fact I had to use some strength to tighten the bolt into the fluid head enough to keep the head's lower plate from rotating with the jib when pivoting it. I believe that a conventional tripod would be much more rigid, but as I mentioned, I simply do not have the cash to buy one. The alternative presented here is good.
This is a solid desk, well worth the price, and feels sturdy, but I was disappointed to find that the legs cannot be adjusted individually. If you're shooting on an unsupported platform, you will not be able to A tripod that is positioned on level terrain is likely to be off kilter, and the only way to correct this is by adding wood under a leg or something similar. Despite this complaint, aside from my complaint, ProAm is an awesome company. I will definitely buy from them again when I need video equipment.
The only thing I have is a speaker stand. Mounting a crane or jib is impossible without a bracket. Total misrepresentation and I'll be returning to it.
This crane, jib, and stand are all part of one package and I can't speak highly enough of them. They are all very well constructed, stout, and easy to assemble. I'm up and ready to go I've got it. The crane/jib is easy to put together, and I can have it up and running in less than There is one down side, though if you have to move it, it can be a bit bulky. It is, however, not a problem for the price. This thing is smooth as silk if you take the time to properly counterweight it. The bearing kit that is offered as an option sounds interesting to me, but at this point, I don't see the point of it. This crane will add some serious production value to your scenes, even if you're working on a budget.
My tripod was intended to be used with the 8 foot crane, but the crane is way too heavy to use it, so I ordered the stand. I am quite pleased with the stand, which is very sturdy and well suited In my case, I am using a light camera (Canon XA10) and 15 pounds of counterweight. The stand, at least so far, seems stable to me. Fasteners provided in the package make it very easy to construct the crane and stand (I would still have had to purchase a tripod at the hardware store to even see if I could make it.
As an alternative to trying to find a tripod strong enough to attach your jib to, you may want to consider getting this stand. I have the ProAm mini jib and I must say it holds up well. Despite its lightweight nature, the whole thing can get quite heavy at times I'm not exactly sure what the weight limit is, and I have yet to use the full-size jib, so I can't give it Definitely one of the best stands! You can attach most types of jibs to it, making it quite versatile.
There will be no wiggle on your part and it will hold a lot of weight. In terms of weight, the stand is lightweight if you need to carry it. Overall, he weighed slightly more than 10lbs. It is easy for me to carry around wherever I am. More could be said, but it is not necessary. Interested in asking me about my experiences with it and my setup? I'm happy to answer your questions.
