Please take caution Poor packaging might result in the jib being damaged when it arrives. There is no protection on the ends of this carbon fiber jib box that Niewer uses, but it is placed within a rectangular box that is loose. There are two weights in the middle of the box that come with the jib. Thus, all it takes is one good drop for the box to crush and the jib to damage. In order for Amazon to ship it correctly, it must be double boxed unless Neewer fixes its ineffective OUR SERVICES INCLUDE The parts have been damaged for some time now and I haven't heard back from Neewer yet. It's best not to order it too close to when you need it. BRIG This product A great deal of potential can be found in this jib. Lightweight and solid, it provides a secure grip. This set of tripod legs will have to be mounted onto a sturdy piece of equipment since it has some flex. With my Neewer carbon fiber tripod, it flexes, allowing the jib to move left or right as you move it up and down. It feels much more stable when it is attached to a heavier tripod. So far, the jib itself feels smooth in its movement. It's not too difficult to set up if this is your first time though the instructions are a bit lacking. Pre-assembled. Most of it is already in place. This product features To withstand the forces of gravity, I'd like to see a different adjustment mechanism on the bottom arm to actively set the camera tilt as the jib head rises or falls. Although you can get a decent angle with just a little practice, it just does not tilt when you jib up or down (but since this is my first jib, maybe that's because I haven't yet figured out how to set it fully yet).
What a great piece of work! Two issues You will need to mount it on a speaker stand or on a tripod that is very rigid. If I weigh my Cayer tripod down with any amount of torque, the tripod fluid head will tilt no matter how tight I tighten it. If you can avoid using one, avoid using a tripod fluid head. I noticed that the supplied weight is not sufficient to support a camera like the GH5 with a fluid head in the ball mount that comes with the jib, and I cannot figure out how to add more weight without damaging the carbon fiber rods. There are no directions included in the package. If that makes sense, I love it.
In my head, I had always envisioned owning a camera crane of some kind, but I never thought it would be an option for me. The quality of the sound is fantastic! Bought this item for a project I was working on and I'm so pleased with how well it was built! I was able to place my camera and the largest lens in comfort with ease, since it is strong and durable. With its convenience, ease of assembly, and wide range of uses, it makes a great jib. It can be operated easily and it can be assembled quickly. The length of this lens is perfect for me as well I've got some really good results with it and I'm motivated to use it again soon. There is a huge difference in the quality of my films and projects now that they have a higher production value. The jib was a great buy for the price and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget, but who wants to have a little production value in their efforts.
What is important here is that it is very effective and dramatically changes the game for videographers. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5, was the lack of comments. I find it to be thin and flimsy, there's a problem with the connectors, and it would benefit from an additional Buying jibs without spending a lot of money is ideal if you need one. I'm up to the task!.
In order to get crane-like shots while learning and on a tight budget, I purchased this. The hardware seems to be solid and well constructed. Together with a light camera, it allows them to get angles that would otherwise be unattainable without the aid of a drone or other much more expensive gear.
It's awesome to see the Neewer job arm in action. Converts to a tiny package that is surprisingly sturdy and easy to put together. This is such a great deal.
I found it to be extremely durable and capable for my needs. Although the tripod is easy to adjust and has a simple connection system, I do recommend getting one with a higher weight capacity in order to achieve maximum results.
Stable but not very strong. It would be nice if the camera came with a separate connection. Despite this, the new client service organization went above and beyond to help me, so I upgraded my rating from 2 to 4.
