How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

The Mini Crane M1 III by IFOOTAGE took home the red dot design award for its' unique design, which employs round tubes with highly rigid 20-layer high impact carbon fiber for sturdy rigidity and stability. The crane can support a maximum load of 33 pounds. We are giving away a water bottle as a gift.
With 85 inches of extendible length, a flexible camera platform, and adjustable tilt angle trimming up to 25 degrees, the camera platform can reach the maximum length of 85 inches. By using an alternative low profile quick release adapter and ball head bowl, it is easy to take shots at low angles and mount it upside down.
By combining pitch and tilt shots (degrees of focus -13-22), photographers can easily get smooth vertical and horizontal motion.
With the integrated pan head you can connect a flat tripod or a tripod without half ball, and you can also connect various accessories (monitor, video light, support arm etc.) with the three/8 and four quarter thread heads.
A pair of quick release plates is equipped, allowing the mini crane to connect and work with 60mm/75mm fluid ball heads and a wide range of cameras, such as micro-single and wide-angle cameras, as well as long lenses cameras. There is a perfect tripod with ASIN B07GQY33NP for you to choose from.

Questions & Answers

What is included in the 33lb limit? Just the camera or counterweights as well?

This bag weighs about 2-3 ounces depending on what I use it with. I use it with a DJI RS2 and a Lumix S1 with Sigma primes. With 15 lbs on the back, I had to continue extending the counterweight and extend the shelves until they were at their limit. The total weight you can lift can be increased if your arm is kept short. As soon as you extend the jib, you get closer to its 33 total total length.

Accessories shown in the above image are included in the box, according to the Ifootage store. This picture does not show the qr tag for x2motion. How can I tell if it's in the box?

My QR plate includes the water bag, but not the qr plate.

If I rotate the entire crane while shooting, can I do so smoothly?

In fact, yes. With this crane, you can shoot with an optical focus You can tilt the screen. The bearings are of high quality to ensure

Are there 75mm ball heads included with this camera?

With my jib, the tripod base is fixed in place and can be adjusted to any position. On the camera side, it came with a quick release so you could attach a camera directly to the jib In addition, a different quick release was included for connecting a head to the jib, but there wasn't one for connecting one to the camera.

The investment was very good
5/5

Here is what you need if you want to put more effort and production value into your videos. Our intention is to shoot videos for a YouTube channel using the iFootage camera crane. At first, I was a bit sceptical about this business since I didn't know much about it. In contrast, its relative light weight and ease of setup made me want to buy it. Upon receiving the unit, I realized that it had a quality build far beyond what I expected for the price. In spite of carrying a lens, it is able to manage the weight of my Canon 1DXMk2. Currently the motion is smooth, but only practice can make it better. The crane can be set to set some drag that will be useful for smoothing out some jerky movements of the hand. As a whole, I consider this camera accessory to be one of my favorites. I really liked how it added to the cinematic look of my work. Whether you are thinking of it, are unsure, or have lingering doubts as I once did, do yourself a favor and At such a low price, it is hard to find a product with such a combination of lightness, portability, and build quality.

What's 33 pounds? I like the fact that it is well built, packs small and does not torque when it is extended fully
4/5

It's not clear to me how 33lbs will work. The camera is an A7s with a Shogun recorder on a Manfrotto 502 head (about 9 pounds). It takes 25lbs of counterweight to accomplish that. Is it possible to double the weight of the carbon fiber rod without it.

My video package has been greatly improved with this addition
5/5

I have nbsp It has been a month since I bought it and yesterday was the first day I used I was blown away by how easy the setup was and how perfect the balance was. In this experiment, I used beach sand as a weight source, but I will purchase regular weights before my next attempt. How well it rotates in its fluid center, as well as how solid the unit is, were things that intrigued me. Although I will need to practice fluid movements in order to get the most out of this unit, it is also very forgiving. With the tension adjusted to your liking, the flow can be perfected. When I have used it a couple more times, I will report back, but I can honestly say that it is well A sample of the unedited video with the GH4 mounted on the unit can be seen here.

I love it! I really like this one
5/5

A super solid foundation. It's specified to be able to hold 15kg, so the counterweights would add up to that much. I've never had a problem with this jib. I'm not worried about the weight because it's about 4kg, so it shouldn't matter. As a result, it's not ideal for travel without a car, since it isn't superlight. The setup process is simple. There is no need for placing it on top of a fluid head since it comes with a fluid base. There are several methods for mounting a camera on a jib. Includes a quick release plate or fluid head that can be used to mount the camera. This is a great bag for the price. In addition to weights that you can fill with water when you reach the location, you can also use other items like stones. In general, I would recommend it. It is the only one I've seen that is similar in quality and price, the Kovacam 9ft, which is longer and lighter, but its weight capacity is far less than the Ifoto. There are photos of the iFootage jib in action on this page. This is important With the jib, you are NOT provided with a tripod, fluid head, or weights.

Don't forget to keep your subject on ups and downs! Testing has only been going on for a few weeks, so this is just a preliminary result It was apparent within the first 30 minutes, but became a little less obvious afterwards The second thing that stands out is that it is smooth and solid without being overly Here is the tool The bowl is 75mm in diameter and made with a carbon fiber beam in a less design A wide range of features are available with this mount option
5/5

It's the quick and tool-free process on this iFootage, however, that makes it the killer feature With the ability to automatically tilt your camera down as you go up, and to point upwards as you go down, you are less likely to make mistakes. There's no way I can deal with wobble in jib footage, and with a non-stable camera, It will deliver accurate footage due to its swinging weight. As a weight, I plan on getting the slide-on water bag from iFootage. I feel this jib is worth the premium over other jibs I have used in the past, like the Kessler Pocket Jib or the Benro MoveUp4, but since they do not have the auto-rotate capability, I cannot compare them to this. The tilt feature makes me so happy that I cannot imagine that I would not be.
