There is not enough specificity
3/5

It is a pity that the free How To DVD that came with my Canon 60D was so short. In comparison to a lot of the huge amount of features on the camera related to still photography, they did a good job covering most of them. In my opinion, the free DVD portion devoted to video was a little lacking and that is why I purchased Hence, when I saw that the same company had created a DVD about how to shoot great video using a DSLR, I jumped at the opportunity. Despite ordering late at night, the DVD arrived the next day. This seems like an often seen Canon how-to video, but what I did not pay enough attention to was that it was just an general Canon how-to. Mostly, they talked in generalities, which was no use to someone like me who is new to DSLR cameras. Throughout this article, there was plenty of information about how to set up the 60D so that I could get good video in different situations. There was no luck at all. "Your camera probably has. " was one of the phrases they used. It is possible to do this with some DSLR cameras and with most. My goal was to find a DVD that would explain exactly what buttons I should be pushing. Videos on the web that explain how to do a task are better than those I've seen. The price is not worth it, in my opinion.

It was good material with a few hands-on exercises, explaining the controls in detail
3/5

I think it should be divided into two videos, one about the controls and buttons for shooting videos, and one on the aesthetics of shooting videos. It instills fear in me that even with my camera recording video, I will not be able to get it to work. There was a lot to do - The line leads to a pay-for-service site that helps users set up their cameras.

I rate this book as three stars

This was a good technical review of shooting video, but it seems they didn't cover anything of relevance to.

An introduction to the topic- The production was well done- A generic approach to the problem
3/5

My first DSLR video was of a very high quality. I do not know how it works. As such, I am seeking information to manage the transition from photography to videography (?). What is cinema? Due to the fact that I shoot with Nikon, I came upon this DVD in my search for information. DVD that shares the same title as this DVD, but with the title "How to shoot great video with your "Canon" DSLR," is available by searching on "Canon DSLR video. " Let me say that again. I like how well it was An example of how to make such tutorials using your equipment in many ways. In this course, one is introduced to a number of important concepts that one will need to understand and decide upon. In reality, it provides a superficial level of coverage. Although there is nothing wrong with that, if you are looking for precise and detailed information to assist in making sensible choices about gear, techniques, editing software, etc. you probably won't There is nothing bad about this DVD, it is just basic, generic information - It has nothing to do with the Nikon line of DSLR cameras, as far as I From what I've read, it seems that video compression is specific to Nikon cameras and not Canon, as Nikon appears to be different from Canon in this regard. As a result, this is an excellent example of a written, well-structured and well-written "basic introduction" to the subject and not a "tutorial. " I also think it was only shot with DSLR video, as I have seen no other formats. My view of it has led me to offer it to another participant. For those who seek more information You'll have to go somewhere else for more detailed information.
There is also a guide that gives a broad overview It is a book published by "Koo" and will be accessible via the web (free) at "nofilmschool. com/dslr" (link is described as "spelled out", because Amazon strips connections to web sites from Compared to the free PDF book, I feel that this one explains the field more comprehensively. Thank you, Pablo.
