The sound and definition are both excellent. Capturing for motion detection is possible. A full battery charge, on the other hand, is said to record one hour of video. This is a complete and total fabrication. I had set up this camera at work to catch someone who had damaged something of mine in a rarely used area. I gave them the option of returning a note explaining why my property had been damaged, which I had left for them. They did eventually leave a note apologizing and claiming it was an accident, but I don't know who it was because I didn't get any video. This is why I bought this camera: it promises to record 1 hour of video and to turn off the motion detection when there is no motion. Over the course of an hour, I captured about 7 points of video and the device's battery was completely depleted. Each video consisted of one minute of me walking around the area, putting something in a drawer, or retrieving something. That's only about 7 minutes of world record time, not 60! I suppose it could be plugged into a large charger, but that would have made the hidden camera part much less discreet. Very deceiving. Using it and relying on its internal battery is almost pointless. For the price, I might keep it if it's a good night vision camera, but it won't work as a security camera unless you can hide it with a power pack. And I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not sure if it will last for several hours.

I simply despise having to buy something only to have to buy something else in order to use it. It wasn't so much about the money as it was about the fact that I needed to put it to good use right now.

This camera is actually quite good. It only took me a few moments to figure out/read it. Because it is so small, it can be used in a variety of settings. I just wish there were more mounts included. The video is of good quality and has withstood the elements.

I've only had it for a few days and have been experimenting with it. video quality is exceptional; Set it and then return to watch the motion capture video. Leave it plugged in and it will continue to record over and over. You can choose all of the functions on this micro device if you read the instructions!.
