This is an excellent product from Sandmarc! An overview of the past. It's designed to be used in conjunction with a GoPro camera on the water. The length provided by this extension pole is the only one I could find that is waterproof! The only problem I ran into was that after about 3 weeks, it stopped working. As far as I could tell, the adjustable wrist strap separated from the grip, and the extension pole piece that had the handle would no longer tighten or In the end, I taped the pole pieces together and wrapped the strap around the grip, but both of these problems left me wondering how secure the pole would be after this, especially with an expensive camera attached at the end. I was upset because I had thought I had found a good product and I had used it so well for quite a while. After attempting to reach out to the manufacturer, I called them to find out what could be done. In addition to their prompt response to my concerns, they sent me a brand new pole (with no additional costs), and asked me not to send back the defective pole by the end of the week. my product started out with some complications, Sandmarc has excellent customer service and is quick to resolve your issues. This company's products are 100% recommended! I will use them again in the future. Sandmarc, thanks for your support!.

The steel version of the SANDMARC pole looks like the following This is a great portable, lightweight, and excellent GoPro extension pole for you if you're looking for durability and light weight. THINK ABOUT IT It measures about 5 inches long from the base of the pole to the grip. Having a nice hard rubber finish makes them grippy as well as very tough. It does not seem like it will wear out or tear in the near future. An excellent feature about this wrist strap is that it is securely attached to the bottom. In our opinion, the following is the pole Amazing is simply the best way to describe the pole. Despite how durable and lightweight it is, it is light as a feather. Black has a great shine to it and does not show any scratches, bumps, dents, etc. It actually has a very low profile and doesn't distract much when shooting compared to the white pole that Gopole uses. Metal locks are tough and secure and add an extra sense of toughness. It's easy to extend the pole without much effort, which is what I love most about it. It doesn't take longer than 5 seconds to get to the end. The locks don't need to be tightened very often. This is a great product that's so easy to use. One thing about it is that it is kind of There is a lot of weight up top with the metal head, so it is mainly responsible. I will refer to the head as follows Like a cherry on top, the top part of the pole is what sets it apart. It is so gorgeous to look at the silver metal finish. Besides being a mini tripod, it also serves as a remote control. It is the exact same as the ones that Gopro sells, but it is metal and is way more durable. On the bottom of the plate there is a standard 1/4 thread, so you can mount it on other surfaces This is incredible. The conclusion is This pole is what you need. You need to buy THIS, no matter what else you are considering. You will not understand how awesome this thing is unless you've used one. It's practically guaranteed to last the rest of your life or the life of your Gopro. I have one more thing to add. The mistake I made was to open a lock all the way and then pull a I thought I had hurt it when one of these plastic bearings fell out. That's not happening. You clean it after water use in order to make sure it is clean. This is to get all of it The pole also has a great feature like that. I would like to thank the team from SANDMARC for their help. Although I haven't had the chance to fully test this pole, I just received the item and I was impressed with its construction. Another brand of the same product had a problem if you unscrewed it too much, which damaged the locking mechanism. There was no issue with the pole itself, but some of the plastic intended for locking broke off (it still worked) so it was of no major concern. As a note, this is not the same brand of pole as my last pole and I am not trying to recreate the issue on this pole. To unscrew it, I had to be careful to unscrew it slowly. Make sure you follow those two rules and you should be all right. I have no problem telling you that the pole actually measures 50 inches. Before I bought it, I made sure to check its size since a reviewer said it was approximately 40 inches wide. A smaller 40 inch pole is also sold by the same company maybe he got one of them by accident or didn't realize it extended all the way to the very top. Seeing as it was hard to spot the extension after the last one, it's understandable how that happened. As for me, I'll try it out this winter, since I splitboard a lot in the backcountry. My next review will be in a year or two. appears to be what it claims to be, and I look forward to testing it out. Also, I must add that I paid full price and not a penny off just because I wrote this review. As far as I am concerned, everything has gone well.
