In order to keep the ball mount from coming loose, I used Loctite Threadlocker Red 271. The threads will eventually be stripped if you do not do this. If you don't help these threads, you'll have to keep tightening them over and over.

Then and now The spotlight has a nice, bright white light, and the battery has a good battery life of one hour on high (flood video setting), but now I alternate between using it as a video set or as a spotlight (which is nice and bright). Doing this allowed me to complete two dives (2 hours) in two hours. Since the batteries are large, I had to purchase a new charger as I was unable to use the charger for them. I am using 2 of these lights for my GoPro. I used two lights to eliminate all shadows and improve brightness, however, I only used one light in my example video. In order to prevent stripping the threads when tightening up the post, please use Loctite when installing it. Otherwise, it won't stay tightly secured and you'll have to keep tightening it. This shade of blue (medium) wasn't strong enough to handle the scene. In these lights I have dived down to 140' without issues, and I'll try to update this and tell you how they are doing. I dive a lot so I'll let you know how they are doing. Here's what's new After five months, things are still going well.
There was a leak on the front lens after one dive. Fortunately, the battery compartment is dry and the battery seems to be fine. It's just a shame I didn't get any more photos and the front lens started smoking. This light does not come with any kind of warranty. After reading all the reviews, it seems like I should have bought this light first. 85 dollars. A hundred dollars goes up in smoke within ten minutes. It will not be accepted for return. The instructors at trustfire will hopefully read this and reach out to me, since I would never recommend them to It will be interesting to see if they can back up their.
Having a good battery life, bright light, and good builds makes this a good light. However, it does have some cons, which include Please note - A charger that fits this battery size is necessary, since it is a unique battery size. These batteries and extras can be purchased here - Despite its small size, it is quite heavy. A lot of visible light is emitted from UV output too
Pros
Buildings that are solid - There is no such thing as a proprietary shape to seals. Please note
Control by one button is convenient, br> Dimmer hold down the button after flood mode has been turned on once the dimming begins, release it to.
In regard to my low rating, it is due to the difficulty and pure aggravation I experienced while trying to find a hex key small enough to install that tiny thing manually. This is a superb light, despite this somewhat annoying setback. This light comes with a beast of a battery and a wide variety of lighting settings, which is a big plus for anyone using this light with a camera.
The five dives were successful. The features are awesome and I had taken UW videos for about nine years and had numerous UW lights when I drowned on the third dive. Yes, I took all the precautions. I got out of the water after the third dive and the whole circuitry was damaged because the battery exploded. When I later got out of the water, everything appears to be working fine.
There was no issue, no changes to be made. I had just done a deeper dive without any problems. Considering the money spent, I was disappointed when it failed to even last a single diving day. Although the light from Amazon that I purchased for $30 works well, I was hoping to get a wider angle It's a real disappointment.
It seems that most people who read these reviews are complaining about the mounting hole not being However, the threads were failing, so this shouldn't have been possible. I finally managed to recover the light, but it fell at some point during the process. It looks great in the light! Having UV, infrared, and all that good stuff is great, but I'm not so much helped if I catch the light from.
