Questions & Answers
Dory is an underwater drone you can use in calm waters, but our underwater drone operators recommend you use it when there is no wind. Don't get caught up in swift currents or heavy surges of water.
Yes, I agree! As with most marine vehicles, it does need to be rinsed after use in salt water.
I say "yes!" The 12-week school year runs from September to December The manufacturer offers a twelve-month warranty against workmanship and defect. During that period, you can always reach out if you have questions or encounter any issues, and we will work with you to find a resolution.

There were a few concrete reasons in my previous review of this unit that led me to return it, but the details seem to have been deleted. Here are the basic parts since I don't feel like typing it all over again * * *- There is a problem with the quality of the camera. It's impossible to connect to Wifi on this network - There is a lack of power in the motors*- If you turn off the option that says "add a watermark"*, the app will still add a watermark to your photos and videos. Neither batch downloads nor indication of which files have already been downloaded are available in the app*- Downloads must be done individually through the app there is no way to download files in a batch. There is a long delay when downloading files*- I had been lied to by the company regarding third party bluetooth controllers not working
Turns out, it's a fun toy, but the hardware is built like a Nerf gun and I expect more from $500.
Should this review be removed in the same way, keep an eye out for my next review, which will include some particularly salacious insider.
It is possible. Not at all. The buy button. We were unable to use the apps from the app store. The registration process always failed because of an issue with the server connection. The chasing was a blast. We accessed the com web site, downloaded the Android APK, installed it, and finished the registration process. I like it! Yes, yes, yes! 2.
I removed it from my computer. Please pay attention! Even though the app indicates it is the latest version, it needs to be updated. Everything should be deleted and reinstalled. Is that okay? * * 3. It's not OK now, no apps can connect to Dory. There are no iOS or Android apps. I cannot connect them either because they say that their devices are not connected, but I can clearly see that the phones are Not at all. There is an issue with the device not being There are so many things I have to fight with. I'm exhausted. In any event, I find the app to be almost half-arsed. I think having control over the thing would be enjoyable, but as it is, it's not. There is a BRICK on it. The video is going back to the beginning.
If you are looking for the pleasure of owning a rov but don't want to spend a bunch of cash, the Dory is the ideal choice. Add a couple of extras In ring form). I like how easy it is to use-- Although I do not have the remote that is available as an add-on, I can manage it with my phone without a problem. It is easy to use, and the controls are very effective. You can easily calibrate Dory's internal sensors using the app, as well as monitor water temperature and depth from it. As the waves get rougher, control becomes more difficult, but that's to be expected and would be common for any tethered rov (which all of them It is a great shame that the three vertical axis motors cannot improve the stability of this little submarine. Due to the range of the wifi signal of 50 feet, the tether and WiFi can provide you with 100 feet of horizontal motion and 50 feet of vertical movement. It has been more than enough to see all sorts of things from the shore, but from a boat the view is even more spectacular. Having said that, you can only go as deep as 50 feet with this option, so for further exploration you should choose another option.
I have three critiques, none of which are deal breakers, but I'd like to draw your attention to them Safety lines for buoys should be offered in Chasing - these can be used to link the buoy to the shore (or boat). It wouldn't be good for a buoy to float out of reach of WiFi Bringing your submarine to the surface will likely result in you getting wet. If the buoy had a plastic ring or something to attach a line to, then you could save your submarine without getting wet. The jury will have an easy time deciding The engineers should draft up something optimized, like a kid's fishing rod and reel with a small float. I'd rather have this done by a kid's fishing rod and reel or something like that. In the same vein, it would be very useful to create a secondary secure link between the tether and the rov, i. e. To secure the tether beyond the current connection point, a second spot is needed. The tether sometimes needs to be lifted to put or take the submarine in/out of the water. However, this is not something I am accustomed to. The addition of a tether reel would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty happy with my Dory, with its price point being out of the ordinary for what you get in the world of rovs and its features being absolutely perfect for my application.
Then read on! After just receiving my package two days ago, I'm so excited to have an underwater drone! I can't wait to see what I can capture! As I mentioned, I love taking pictures and videos from different angles. Before this one, I owned a drone that could fly, rather than dive, and I brought it everywhere when I traveled with friends. The footage was impressive and it is such fun to see the world from high up in if I were to explore the world in a fun way, what more could I ask for than to see what's I am now happy to say that this was the best choice I could have made, it is easy to carry, easy to use, I just connect it to my phone, drop it in the water and it works perfectly! A fantastic underwater view of the river near our neighborhood can be seen from the HD camera of the boat. comes with a floater that uses wifi to connect to my phone and sends the signal to my drone via a wire directly connected to it, so it can be controlled like a miniature submarine, to take pictures and videos, and to say hello to aquatic In addition, it could make a great bath toy in my bathtub!.
