Is doing what it should, and it is doing it well
5/5

It is a replacement for a slightly larger Feelworld monitor I used to have. It is intriguing to see how the technology has evolved over the last 8 years. The pros include The size is great The camera is not intended to be shared between the entire video village crew on set, but it is small and light enough to be easily transported without taking up much room DPs or vloggers can monitor their cameras with this unit. Then you can pair it with a small Sony battery and you have a It is easy to snap on the sun shade. With the included mount, you can position the device almost anywhere without having to worry about bulk. You can navigate the menu smoothly because of the touch screen, and you can zoom in and out easily to check your focus. Turning the screen upside down (useful for on-screen navigation Clicking on the camera monitors when you change angles) is easy. Display is sharp, and the zooming feature lets you know right away whether it would be sharp at 4K as well, or if it's just a matter of how 1080 looks at that resolution. I like it because I use compact mirrorless cameras and they don't have audio monitoring outputs, so it's a must-have. I was able to plug in multiple HDMI cables with this box, so it was plug and play for me The play-and-play approach. This monitor has all the standard features (focus peaking, zebra interface, etc. ) and some I have not learned of yet (LUTs via the SD card, etc. ) which can help those wanting to see how their processed shots will appear while shooting S-I footage. You could write it down on a log. The cons are There aren't that many cons as much as things to keep in mind. At least in my case, I received it with German as my language preference. It took me a while to figure out where to do that in the menu, and the manual and setup weren't very clear on how to do it Follow these steps for setting up your computer. For those not normally using touchscreen cameras, this monitor won't add functionality their normal monitor does not. That is, I can't use the touch screen to pull focus, zoom, etc. , the same way I cannot on the screen on my Sony a6300-style camera. Touching the ground The screen functions are only available on the monitor, not on I also gain the ability to operate the camera myself through the touch screen of the app run on my phone or iPad. However, there is sometimes a slight lag, and other issues that make it not an ideal alternative to an actual monitor. Therefore, I suppose you should be aware of what you're getting. In addition to that I would still prefer it if it had the ability to plug into an AC source and a cord to hook up to a V-source The mount battery pack (which I don't have), but it seems like it wouldn't have cost so much extra to include an adapter plug for that so we could just plug it into a standard wall mount when doing stationary indoor shots for a long time. I wish they had offered this option, it would have been nice. See the pictures for a look at all the contents, and watch the video for a brief overview.

An external monitor of this quality is an excellent purchase
5/5

First of all, this monitor is awesome for film making, blogging, interviews, and so on.

I was worried about the touch screen but it turns out I do like it a lot. The menu will appear when you double tap it and close it when you do the same. That's all there is to it. It is not necessary to remember all the custom buttons that perform functions that are not labeled. Having the ability to zoom into the picture and adjust brightness after lighting changes with a quick pinch or swipe makes the app extremely valuable. Monitor is colorful and bright enough to be seen under almost all lighting conditions, and the sunshade included made filming outdoors much easier. With its light weight and compact size, this monitor is just what you need for work. Having this monitor mounted on a Zhihyun gymbal with an A7iii can be a burden after a while, so I'm thankful that it's not as heavy as it could have been. In addition to this monitor, the set comes with a neat carrying case, a sunshade, and all the cables needed to get started. Besides running on regular Sony batteries, this device is also able to operate on a standard 12v dc power supply, which I think is awesome! There is audio output from monitoring and recording. One of the best features is the memory card slot and the ability to preload luts. This lets you see what the footage will look like using your favorite luts in real time so you can adjust lighting, etc. The new panel makes post-processing a breeze and it was hard for me to go back to my old monitor after using it. The way you film with this setup makes for great content. I recommend you give it a try if you haven't already. If you are looking for an affordable external monitor, I suggest you take a look at this. Don't forget to check out this one! The movie is sure to be a hit with you.

A new monitor is in order for the new year
5/5

This is fantastic. Then and now I'm happy to say welcome to a new monitor in a new year. With this monitor, you have many features to make it suitable for your field monitor needs, and it is a super light weight so it is excellent for handheld use, It came with a sunshade, two HDMI cables, a VGA cable and a micro USB plug for power. A plus is the lock on the batteries and E6 batteries type connector (batteries are not included), SD card 128 GB slot for setting up the LUTs or upgrading the firmware and the 180 degree shoe mount for the monitor makes this a complete bundle. To help with exposure and framing, I like the touch screen option because it is accurate and easy to navigate to all functions, like waveform, vector scope, histogram, focus peaking, Check Field, and Safe Frame. A scratch resistance makes it suitable for use in Based on my experience testing it, I would say it is quite good for the price. You can compare it to other monitors in this The features of this program are exciting and I would like to check them out more.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was! For the video productions I do for my clients, I purchased this monitor as a quick set up
5/5

My goal with this purchase was to test out a model with a lower price tag since I didn't understand why video monitors cost hundreds of dollars. It amazes me how well this works!

Have fun with it! A laser beam has all the scopes it needs, and it is bright and lasts Using my Black Magic Cinema Camera, I can use it outdoors under direct sunlight with the hood on and see everything very clearly. Moreover, the building quality is to die for, and the case it comes with is exceptional. You can even load your own custom LUTS onto the monitor screen via SD card and it has most of the features that more expensive monitors have. So whether you're just getting started in filmmaking or a seasoned pro like me, this monitor can meet all your filmmaking needs. This is a great resource that I highly recommend.
