You have provided us with valuable information. Thank you. SmallRig Monitor Mount 2905 does not have a screw hole to match a quick release plate since it uses a Cold Shoe Mount design.
I'm happy to see you! I say no. There is a lot of work to do!

I also like how tightly it locks and how much weight it can support. This is the third mount I have purchased after my first two failed to support the weight of my Freeworld 4K Lut7 monitor, which is very heavy when only a single battery is attached. However, this mount made the most complete addition to my Sony A7iii camera cage setup not only by letting me use my monitor and one battery, but even when using two heavy batteries it is still tight enough to not fall forward. The metal on it is very high quality and it feels as if it would last for a very long time, even under heavy loads. You will have a much smaller profile for your camera once you lock it into place. It is rock solid once you lock it into place. There are no flaws that I can see. **I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book!.
It has been machined nicely. I like it a lot. It is very easy to tighten the tilt mechanism. It is great to have a hex key hole in the knob to use as a lever for tightening. My Atomos Shinobi is held in it, but I do power it with a dummy battery so that it does not weight too much. Even with a real battery, I believe I could make the resistance stay, so it may have worked with a real battery as well.
I use it for mounting my rig to an Atomos Ninja V. The mount I have is every bit as good as most of the more famous ones I have purchased. Compared to the knockoff brands on Amazon, these are only a few dollars more expensive.
Using this monitor mount is a blast, and gives you a whole lot of options. If your monitor was tilted and swiveled, you could virtually adjust the angle of your monitor to any desired view. Allen keys may be used in order to adjust the friction of the tile or swivel. Two thumb screws are integrated on both sides, allowing for quick and easy mounting. It does not increase the rig size too much since the profile is small. This would work well on an rig for a mirrorless camera.
I love how this thing works! If you are looking for a monitor mount for your camera or DSLR, this is the one that you need. If you are using the AndyCine A6+, you can tilt and swivel the monitor simply by adjusting the mount.
It works great with everything I have, but this one is a no-go for me. I work with a multitude of cameras etc. here at Small Rig, but this one should be avoided. More headaches have resulted from this than anything else. The mounting mechanism works well for a cold shoe mount, but it is not very versatile and does not have a great locking mechanism. During the time when the atomos was tightened down to the camera, it slipped off. A small rig is my preferred method of rigging the home, but what about this particular model? Don't hesitate to change your mind.
Using a cold shoe with a Monitor mount is fantastic. It is nice to be able to adjust the tension for all axes.
As a fan of Smallrig, I am huge. In addition to being well designed and built, all of their products are very high quality.
