I have a number of Canon 600RT speed lights that I've been using for a number of years. (1) recycle time, (2) outdoor use, and (3) power output were never completely satisfactory. I sat through the Godox reviews of the AD200 and then the AD200Pro. I bought two AD200 Pros, an Xpro Canon controller, and a Good 24x24 box over the holidays. It was incredibly simple to set up; The menu system is simple to use. I shoot portraits in manual mode (camera and flash) and found that dialing in the exposure was simple and straightforward, and that the AD200Pro provided a significant boost in power. WOW! I used the Godox system with my Canon 5dMKiii to photograph a client's nine-member family for a Christmas session. For the duration of the session, I shot about 250 images with the strobe set to about 1/2 power. The battery was still showing 3 out of 4 bars when I finished the session due to the quick recycle time! The kelvin value for white balance was within a few degrees for ALL OF THE IMAGES when I loaded them into Lightroom; With speed lights, I'd never be able to do it. With consistent light levels and color temperature, post-processing was a breeze. I'm completely blown away! This product comes highly recommended.

PRODUCT - I give it a ten out of five star rating. (The flash is amazing in and of itself. )br>TRANSACTION - I give it a two-star rating out of five. (The first one arrived broken, grrrr)br>br>I'm a professional wedding photographer who ordered this at the last minute because another piece of equipment was malfunctioning and I needed it for an event. It arrived quickly, but despite a "Quality Control Passed" sticker on the package, I turned on the flash and, while everything else worked, the flash would not fire. I switched the head, assuming that only one flash was defective. Nope. No luck. I contacted Amazon customer service, attempted to contact GoDox customer service, and emailed the seller. They'd have to send me a replacement because the piece was defective. While they quickly addressed the issue, the fact that no one bothered to turn on the first flash and ensure it worked was extremely inconvenient and wasted a lot of my time. br>br>What is the point of that part of the story? If you're ordering in a hurry for a critical job, you may need to order two at once and return the extra one once you've confirmed that it works. br>br>Now that we've gotten through the TRANSACTIONAL part of the story, I'll just say that the flash itself is AMAZING. This thing is insanely powerful, recycles at a breakneck speed, and is incredibly simple to control with the wireless trigger. I work in a tourist destination, so we're in the sun all the time. With this, I can easily overpower the sun and create stunning sunset portraits. I can mount this on a light stand across the reception area and get some really cool backlighting. lighting for the dance floor I also own the GoDox V1, and while I adore that flash, this one takes the cake in terms of raw power and versatility. br>br>If you require studio-related services, please contact us. I can't say enough good things about the Godox line I love everything about this light it's so portable and very light but super strong and seriously makes your images I can't wait to buy another one I also have the Godox 600 for studio use which is another amazing light I just needed something a little more portable and this is it Godox 200pro for the win, I don't even mind carrying it on the dance floor at weddings it's so light and portable definitely a must especially if you want to capture.

11/03/2020 - *UPDATE* I contacted the seller, and it was determined that I did, in fact, receive a knock-off. with the two kits I bought, I got a pair of batteries. The tell- The battery's serial numbers are not stamped on the sides, which is a major flaw. The serial numbers are all stamped on the 'official' Godox WB29 batteries. CHECK YOUR BATTERIES IMMEDIATELY AFTER RECEIVING THEM TO MAKE SURE THE SERIAL NUMBERS ARE PRESENT. They have requested that I return them and have stated that they will replace them, so I will provide another update once they have done so. (Review from the beginning -) > ) I purchased a pair of these lights for remote portrait sessions and for wedding lighting that is extremely manageable. In the beginning (20-minute) test sessions, The lights worked flawlessly and produced the exact light I was looking for (50 images). When I first used them (fully charged) on a cloudy day for my first location shoot, I noticed that after about 40-minutes, they started to fade. After 50 images, both lights' cycle times started to slow. By 60- I had been anticipating 70 images for 3 years. Between each shot, there is a 5-second pause. I was waiting close to ten seconds by 100 images, and even then, only one light would usually fire; this poor performance continued the next session. Return and support windows through Amazon had closed by this time. I bought a second set of Godox WB-2000 batteries, assuming that this was just the way these batteries worked. 29 batteries to bring to the job site for swapping out in the middle of the shift. session. Even as I approached 250 images, the new set of batteries surprised me by performing flawlessly and having cycle times of under two seconds. It quickly became clear that the batteries that came with the original AD200 'kit' were either defective or 'knock-offs. ' To keep the kit costs down, use an 'off' substitute. I say this because the Godox WB-WB-WB-WB-WB-WB-WB One of the original batteries' 29 sticker simply curled up and fell off not long after I received it, despite the fact that I had never taken it outside or used it. I contacted Godox support and described the exact situation described here, but I have yet to receive a response. If they respond and offer an exchange for'real' Godox batteries, I will revise my review to 5 stars and immediately recommend these lights, because they are fantastic when they work. Expect 'gray market' batteries and no response from their customer service when you contact them. (The top two batteries are the second set of perfectly functioning batteries. ) The bottom two pairs are knock-offs. originals that came with this kit) are off, and they're not very good.
