This is my new favorite light, despite the fact that it is half the power of my AD200. It's more compact than my ad200, and it's a better light in some situations. This light is currently used as a hair light for me. Despite being half the power of an ad200, I believe they are well worth the money because of their small size and high light quality. Because they're small and light, I bought two of them to use as hair or background lights. With one exception, there's plenty to like. There's a distinct greenish tint to the water. Compared to the AD600, AD300, and AD200, the AD200 has a more yellow cast. After a series of tests, I found that a 1/2 minus green gel would bring it close enough to the other lights to mesh color-wise. Otherwise, there might be a color mismatch, which could be troublesome. This is no longer a problem with the 1/2 minus green gel.

For one reason, I've been anticipating the release of this light. It's small enough for me to carry around in my pocket. It has just enough power to be useful in a variety of situations, and it doesn't require its own lighting bag, which reduces the amount of gear I have to carry around. I'll need more practice with it before I can use it effectively. This is a good product, but I believe it should have come with a stand for the price; I don't mind it, but a stand would have been nice. I'm glad it has a battery, but I'll be buying a second one just in case. It's an excellent item.

I absolutely adore it. It is something I would recommend to anyone. It's what I use with my Sony A7r3. This item is simple to use, transport, and most importantly, inexpensive. Because most flashes are quite costly, I'm likely to purchase another so that I can have even more fun with it.
