The two are the same. My first thought was that a mistake had been made, or a misprint had been made. Since then, I have bought two more of them. The cheaper kit comes with a silicon cover, which is incredibly useful for protecting the lens.

I am awed by how bright the light is

The thing is, I love this strobe and am kicking myself for putting it off for so long. The lens works well in daily light and at It can withstand a lot of stress. I had a small scratch on my stand after it had been knocked over in the wind. However, it still functions as It is likely that I will purchase a second one.

The flash of this small camera is very powerful

I really like how compact this is and how I can use Mag Mods on it. Despite its versatility, this tool is extremely useful. For the bare bulb unit, make sure you get a protector.
