It depends on the modifier you're using and how close it is to the front of the COB LED (with the gel). Yes, if they were placed too close together, either of those LEDs would melt the gel. However, you might have better luck if the gel was placed in barndoors on the front of a standard 7" modifier.
When I'm in a hurry, I usually use masking tape. In comparison to its stickier counterparts, I find it leaves little to no residue. If your lights have barn doors, I've used small clamps or even binder clips to secure them.

However, it is static. The colors are fantastic. br>Excellent temperature resistance (I use silicone cooking bands to connect these to my Godox ad600b and have never had a problem). br>br>My only complaint is that they're very thin and static-prone. y, which makes them a bit of a pain to work with. I would purchase this item again.
In my studio, I've only recently begun to use gels. They're perfect for my 8" monolight reflectors. To keep them in place, I use masking tape. Despite my lack of experience with gels, they have given my shoots a new dimension by allowing me to change the color of my backdrops. The sheet appears to have good color consistency. I like how they came in a folder, which is also useful for storage.
These gel sheets are fantastic and of excellent quality. They were purchased for our house's Halloween lighting. They're installed on Home Depot's outdoor LED flood lights. One sheet can easily cover two lights when cut in half. However. We doubled the sheets because we wanted the colors to be more vibrant. It worked perfectly!.
Overall, the effect is satisfactory, but the band is extremely tight, and the filters do not fit snugly against the flash, resulting in uneven output. Getting them onto the flash is definitely a challenge. In addition, the filters are quite thin; I'm not sure how long they'll last if used frequently. Let's see how things go. What you pay for is exactly what you get.
These came in two packs to go with my ARRI kit. I've used them before and will continue to use them in the future. The gels are fantastic.
These are simple to cut to modify strobes, monolights, or speedlights, and they can be stacked and cut to size. Great for changing the mood or adding effect by adding a splash of color.
In the studio, these are my go-to gels. I'm based outside of the United States, and this is my second order from the same seller. Colors are consistent, and they'll outlast any other brand. They shipped quickly, and the item was in perfect condition when it arrived. It's really good!.
