The reflector kit has just been delivered to me. When I first opened it, I noticed there was a small piece of fabric piping that had fallen off. To discover exactly where on the reflector the manufacturer failed to sew it securely, further investigation will be required. On it, I immediately found stains as well as human hair. It is disappointing to see stains on the clothes. It is clear from these hairs that the manufacturer failed to follow even the most basic hygiene guidelines. This is concerning. The attached photos show what I mean. * * ** I find it really disturbing to think that somebody would sell to a photographer a piece of photographic gear assuming that said photographer will be oblivious to obvious To me, what's more astonishing is that someone would attempt to do this using such a public venue The Internet is a facing medium, and I presume Amazon is as well You don't want to publish pictures of it for all to see, so you won't take pictures of it. The words of Science Officer Spock describe this subject as fascinating. In my evaluation, I gave it three stars, giving the kit the benefit of the doubt that it might actually perform as expected. It will be updated if it performs better or worse than 3/5 if I use it.

In my professional career, I have been taking photos full time for more than 20 years, but I have never seen an actual cheap reflector of this poor quality. It would be really easy to make a better reflector if you wanted to. Maybe I'll just use it as a diffuser and get rid of the outer zip-up.

In my case, it's easier to hold the reflector and the camera both at the same time when I'm alone. The zippers, grips, and material are of excellent quality.

The instructions said to twist it into the shape of a figure 8 and then compact it, but the large piece that comes out whenever I try this never disappears. I definitely believe there is a step missing in the directions or the one I have is defective. I also don't know if this is normal or what, but my rewind gets stuck instead of completely reeling back in.

I bought it for a photoshoot involving several locations, some of which were a bit of a walk. Besides the fact that it performed its normal function, it also fit easily into an average backpack. It was a bit difficult for my wife and I to fold it at first, but with this technique it's fairly straightforward. Put the reflector in your hand and use it Take out one of your hands (it doesn't matter which one) and grasp hold of the reflector handle from the opposite side, keeping your other hand in place. Making a figure 8 shape with both hands requires you to twist them in opposite directions. Once you do that, the reflector will begin to coil naturally.

Very pleased with the purchase! A 5-month subscription to this magazine was purchased During the last week, I picked up 1 reflector set (32-inch round, version 4. 0) to use in a kindergarten class photo shoot. Using reflectors for the first time has been very rewarding, and I wish I had purchased them There are definitely times when it is not possible to control the lighting while photographing outdoors, and I enjoy it. Nature is the one to blame! By doing so, you will be able to direct or filter sunlight however you like. We live in the Pacific Northwest where the weather and light can be unpredictable. The shoot took place right around lunchtime, so it was bright and sunny. As the subject walked into the light, my assistant held the white filter up for dispersing or softening the harsh sunshine. I found this to be a game changer. Several of the reflective sides were also used as the sun began to angle behind the subject.

To conclude, this is a good investment that any photographer who takes pictures outdoors should be looking into. There are five different kinds of reflectors (one of which is a filter) and it's convenient to use. When I put it back into the zippered case, I had no problem doing so. In addition, the handles add to the charm of the product.

Having handles on them and being able to handle light very well are really appealing to me. There is also a zip up bag included with each pair. The next time around, I probably will buy a larger size.

I have no complaints about this device, even though it is not of excessively high quality. The way it performs is exactly as you would expect for the price.

I mean, actually. While I do not mind the device, there is something I do not like. Whenever I twist to put it away and fold it down, the plastic handles often pop off the device due to the pliers' My chances of taking them off are slim. A metal frame and a clip allow them to clip together. However, I do agree. There is no need to purchase a separate reflector if you want this one.
