Neewer Photo Studio Lighting Reflector and Stand Kit: 43 inches/110 Centimeters 5-in-1 Multi-Disc Reflector,75-inch Light Stand and Metal Reflector Clamp Holder for Photo Video Portrait Photography

This item came in a kit with a 43-inch reflector, which I purchased separately. The clamp, I assumed, would be strong enough to hold this reflector at various angles. This is not the case. The clamp at the top can be used to hang the reflector, but this is the only position in which it can be used. With a large reflector, the clamp's ability to swivel and turn to various angles is completely useless. I'm not sure why this is being sold as a kit if the clamp won't hold a reflector that big.

I'm not sure what this is good for because you can't adjust the angle of the reflectors because the clamp can't handle it. One of the reviewers said they "love that it adjusts to all angles," and I'm curious how you did it with just the clamp.

It is a low-cost product that works when directed directly at the subject. However, there is no upward or downward angling. The tripod is the only thing you can move. So, if you're on the grass with a child and want to bounce the light downward, you won't be able to do so. It has to go straight to the source, which isn't always practical or effective. However, the bounce alone is a good deal, even without the tripod. I got mine years ago from a camera store for a little less than the tripod, so it's fine. Just don't hold your breath for the tripod to deliver much.

The stand is fine in and of itself, but with only vertical adjustments, it isn't worth your time; however, the clip that holds the bounce is very strong and feels sturdy. Because the stand only has one anchor point for your bounce, you won't be able to use it outside in the wind. You can only mount your bounce at the top of the clip, which is about 6', so it can't go very high. The bounce is fantastic in and of itself, and I have several of them that I enjoy using. My only gripe is that the zipper for the various bounces constantly gets stuck on itself and, after a few months, will no longer zip completely shut.

This light reflector stand and reflector disc set are fantastic. They're quite sturdy, and they're simple to slide out, set up, and attach. The clamp has a firm grip on the discs, preventing them from moving. This allows them to be used outside even on windy days because they will not blow away and the tripod will not tip over. It extends all the way to 75 inches, making it extremely tall, and the clip mount is removable, allowing me to use it for other purposes. The reflectors are fantastic; I use them for shooting outdoor portraits. I've used them on a couple of senior portrait shoots so far, and the results have been fantastic because I was able to manipulate the lighting to improve the image. They seem to be a hit with the parents and students, so I'll be using them in all of my future shoots.

This set is reasonably priced and includes both the reflectors and the corresponding stand and clamp, so I won't have to order them separately. Because the reflector is so large and has five different surfaces, I can use it in any lighting situation and on a variety of subjects. br>The stand appears to be very solid and well constructed, and it works well with the reflector. I think it would be better and more convenient if the stand came with a carrying bag, but I'm still happy with my purchase.

This is a great set of reflectors for a reasonable price. Each of the five light reflectors serves a different purpose, but they all do their job and perform well when it comes to lighting manipulation. It's fantastic for both natural and studio lighting. These do a fantastic job of directing, reflecting, and filtering the light. These are incredible and have significantly improved my photo shoots. This kit also includes a stand, so I don't have to rely on someone else to hold them for me, and setup is a breeze. Simple and to the point.
