My strobe seemed to be on its last legs until I remembered that the bulb is replaceable! That's fantastic because I didn't want to buy a new light. I had no trouble inserting the sockets, and it fit snugly inside and lit up like a Christmas tree - Of course, in the form of a strobe.
It's a fraction of the size of the original bulb, but it's still functional. The cost is also quite high.
It's not the right bulb.
Because you never know when an accident will occur, I've become accustomed to purchasing a replacement flash bare bulb at the same time as the strobe light. It's used in the Neewer VISION4 strobe monolight, which is cheap and just as good as the original set. But I'm hoping I won't have to use it, haha.
The Vision appeals to me greatly. 4 a It's a dream to work with studio flash. It's fantastic that the Vision 4 can live on and be completely reborn with an 'as new' flash brightness in a world where most things are designed to be discarded at the end of their short lives.
I started to worry that these bulbs would burn out and leave me (and others) with an expensive paperweight or a youtube DIY project; I'm just glad this was available, and I ended up getting at least one replacement for each unit I own, and I'm hoping to get another set soon! This gives me a sense of security. Pro tip: When handling these, I wouldn't recommend using your bare hands because the oils could cause hotshots, which could lead to failure.
