The Yongnuo 200 is a brand new to me. However, I was unable to secure the item on my Godox AD 200's and had to return it.

This was purchased to protect the AD/Flashpoint bulbs. I was surprised to see that each of these low-cost canisters only came with one cap (top). They appear to be attached to the AD200's bare metal. You'll have to wiggle the bulb attachment on and off in order to turn it on and off. Yes, it works, but 1) the wiggling process appears to be more likely to cause damage to the bulb by leaving it exposed, and 2) what I really need is a container to transport my bulbs in my camera/lighting bag. This isn't the case with this product, which only protects the bulb when it's attached to the attachment. You could probably throw the AD200 with bare-knuckles if that's how you usually shoot. In your bag, there is a bulb. However, if you mostly use the fresnel head and only need access to some protected bare bulbs once in a while, this setup is a little strange. It is, after all, similar to the black cover for the larger AD600 unit. Except, unlike the AD200, you never have to remove the bulb from that unit. Yes, having something is worth $5, but it may or may not be what you're looking for.
I wanted to be able to store my bulbs without having to use the AD200 adapter to do so. I'll have to pad the inside of the cover and secure the bulb inside so it doesn't slide around. But that wasn't the purpose of the protector in the first place. It is most effective when used with the bulb adapter. However, when it comes to actually putting it on, it's a little tight. Make sure the adapter's tightening screw is completely loosened before rotating and sliding the protector on. So far, I've been satisfied with my purchase.
Because the rubber on the unit's locking mechanism gets in the way, this case will not fit the Godox/Flashpoint 200. You won't be able to get this case all the way down unless you damage the rubber (which I did, unfortunately). Locking it isn't even an option.
They're perfect for protecting my AD200/eVOLV bare bulb attachments while they're in my lighting bag. I'm not sure why the lights aren't included in the package.
Yes, these are useless and will not work with my AD200 bulbs. I'm not going to force them in because that would be ridiculous; there are plenty of other ways to protect your bulbs, so I'd steer clear of these. They're not even worth returning; they'll end up in the trash.
It took a while for me to figure out what was going on. The two small bumps on the side wall of the circular recess where the light bulb connects to the AD200 should be looked for. You must match the two small bumps on this cover to the two notches. To lock the cover, push it in place and twist it. If you don't line up those two small bumps with the two notches on this cover, it won't fit properly and will feel loose.
Only useful for covering my bulb when on a stand; I wasn't able to pack a spare bulb and keep it in the light case as I had hoped. When I'm on the stand, I don't think I'll ever need to cover my bulb; I just leave the modifier on and the bulb is already protected. Because of the design, the item is useless.
It was too big for my ad200.
