Unlike the same brand/style 12 inch lights, these don't have built-in batteries. On full power, the 12" ones last around 45 minutes.
This unit provides excellent lighting for a studio apartment. A larger room would necessitate the addition of a second unit to provide coverage. If you're lighting for video, you'll be fine; if you're shooting stills, you might need to move the lights closer to your subject. The more you play around with your lights, the more you'll come up with new ways to use them. This is an interesting item to possess. Take the time to become familiar with your tools.

One of the criticisms of Amazon Vine and receiving free products is that reviewers aren't harsh enough on the products and instead give them glowing reviews. In this case, that is not the case. Yes, these lights were given to me for free, but I was so impressed that I ***purchased*** six more to outfit my entire studio. Notes - br>br>
- It's not overly bright, but it's sufficient. Even with two lights, they struggle to be the primary source of light for a medium-sized room. the size of the room I usually bring in two additional cameras so that I can shoot at a lower ISO.
- The built-in softbox aids in glare reduction.
- I really like how simple it is to change the light's temperature and intensity. You can quickly dial in the precise lighting combination you require.
- They're not great as primary lights, but they're fantastic as secondary lights. I primarily use them to control shadows in larger rooms.
- The color reproduction is excellent. There is no spectral shift that I can see. All I have to do now is set my WB and leave. br>br>Final judgment - These are the most effective lights I've ever encountered. They could produce a little more light intensity in an ideal world, but everything else is A.
However, when I tell you that I absolutely adore these lights, you'll understand. They're ideal for my YouTube videos, and they're also battery-powered, so you can use them outside. ten out of ten! Adjusting the remote while seated is a pain. The storage bags that come with them are stylish and convenient to transport.
I'd never owned any other lights before purchasing these for my office. from- They're fantastic for a home office. It's enough to use the warmest color and the lowest brightness almost all of the time to get good illumination. When I need to record some videos, I'll occasionally turn up the brightness. The remote is also extremely useful, especially because it can control both lights. The stands are also good, with sufficient height and adjustment points, so there's nothing to complain about. I have them set up permanently and will not be transporting them, so I can't comment on portability, but assuming I can fit them in the bags that came with them, it should be no problem.
To replace my compact florescent lights, I finally gave in and purchased a set of LED panel lights for my video studio. This LED panel set appeals to me because it has adjustable white color temperatures, is dimmable, produces less heat, and is more portable. My only gripe is with the remote. It seems to always be on and drains batteries quickly. I have had the light set for a week and the remote has discharged the batteries to 50%.
These lights appeal to me a lot. So far, they've served me well, but I haven't used them on a daily basis or carried them around with me, so - They appear to be pleasant individuals. As a result, the first kit I received was missing one of the brackets that connects the light to the stand, and it only came with two remotes. Newer estimated that getting the part from China would take a month or more (I guess they don't keep spare parts on hand - (This is bad. ) However, Amazon came to the rescue and replaced the kit with a different one. The second kit, as well as the two brackets, are included, but there is only one remote control - So I assumed the second kit lacked a remote, but it didn't. These kits include a single remote that can be programmed to control both lights, and it appears to work well. I'd prefer two remote controls, but Neewer doesn't keep them in stock and they have to be'specially' ordered from China, so.
These lights were very simple to assemble on the stands and use. After a year of using umbrella lights, I've only used them once, but I love how simple they are to set up. You can adjust the brightness and color of the light, and the light panels themselves can be adjusted to almost any angle - These are excellent lights for filming auditions or music videos at home. I'll probably keep the umbrella light for the backlight and use these two panel LED lights for the key and cross lights. br>These lights have a lot of potential for me.
These are fantastic! Ring lights, which were fine but left rings of light in photos, have been replaced. This took the place of fluorescent umbrella lights, which were the most effective of all but were large, bulky, and not LED. So far, these panels are the best substitute I've found, and having a single remote that controls both is fantastic. If the group requires it, more lights can be added!.
Photo number two has been taken away. On to the third photo. For my test, I only used one light, and I'm already thrilled with my upgrade. I used to have a dinosaur set with expensive bulbs that never lasted and took forever to assemble and disassemble. The only thing missing from this set was the battery packs, which can be purchased separately. I'm excited to get them and use them on my outdoor portrait shoots.
