Selected User Reviews For Lume Cube Barn Doors (for The Lume Cube)
I thought these barn doors would be awesome, and since they fold up so small, I would carry them everywhere, but they're not sturdy enough so that they can easily be thrown in a bag. The manufacturing artifacts they use increase the feeling of cheapness even more. These are much more versatile than a snoot, however the good ol' fashioned circle they provide is just enough shaping for most quick and dirty As barn doors are fragile, they require some fiddling to get the right width, orientation, etc. (as is the case with all barn doors), but in light of their fragility they don't provide anything interesting to do. It's worth it, easily, at $15, but they could be even better at that price.
It was easy to put on and a sturdy and comfortable material. I used it to take photos at birthday parties and weddings. I would definitely recommend this!.
Whether you need barndoors for your LumeCube or want to integrate them with the LumeCube ecosystem, the OEM solution is elegant and works well.
*pairs perfectly with the lighthouse and even when working with.
I have a Bluetooth model that fits this. In order to use it, you will need a modification adaptor. I use it the most to avoid brightening people to the sides on my photos. The shape of the light can be controlled somewhat but mostly I focus on keeping it from getting too bright.
As far as I know, the plastic has not broken despite looking and feeling fragile. Everything seems to be okay now. The beam is controlled by the beam controller. During the entire process, it stays on the cube.
Price is great for the quality of the product.
I haven't had a chance to use it much yet, but it's very well written.
