In a nutshell, Trying out this set as I needed to update my fluorescent lights to LEDs. When I occasionally watch videos on Youtube, these lights can be found in my office. Despite this, I will not travel with them, and there is an option to use batteries I can use instead. I have a Sony NP-FX5 with a blue tooth connection It is a silver matte metal body with the same metal on the barn doors that fits the F550/F570 just fine. It appears there is excellent durability and the light can actually be mounted on a standard light stand. There is a digital screen and a dimmer on the back of the unit. There is a single increment of 10 to 100 on the intensity dial. There are two diffusion screens included in the set. It has a power output of 40W and a color rendering index of 100 A 90-D, color temperature of 3200/5600K, with dimensions of 27 cm x 27 cm x 6 cm, and weight of 1 lb. Two kilograms. The full power of these lamps is quite bright, and it can be hard on the eyes. It's the barn doors that direct the light that I like. The light does just fine on either side of the camera and it lights up my face and the background just fine. Overall, I am very pleased with this set. *Update The lights have been used as my studio lights several times per week for the past three years. I have not tested them yet, but should be fine if you impede the cord's ability to pull continually on the plug to ensure that it does not tug continuously on.
In cases where electricity outlets are unavailable, the lights must be able to be used. It is recommended that you do not use the batteries. The batteries worked in my other lights at first, so I initially assumed it was the batteries. I bought them because they work when connected to DC power (electricity), but I believe they can (should) be operated via batteries. Batteries of various brands have been tried by me. Used to be confident in LimoStudio products, but now I will look for a different brand. It is NOT recommended for those using batteries, especially because of their incompatibility with most I have updated The company should replace the lights if I am willing to change my review.
I thought these 2 Pack LED lights were a great deal for the price and with the option to use batteries, I checked them out. At last week's wedding reception which was held in an outdoor tent, I used two of them for the first time. I was able to go from table to table with a single bright light, and I was able to get great shots with the photographer. We have just purchased two more of these lights! I am so excited to have this in our arsenal!.
They work really well and I wanted them to work well. Nevertheless, I left the lights on for about 20 minutes and 3 of the led light bulbs failed. Upon investigation, I pressed on each of these three bulbs and they would turn on, then off. The frustration is unbearable. The bulbs I bought for work cost me 600 dollars. On the whole, they are very smart. The dimmer was only able to be set to 30 and it worked perfectly The brightness goes all the way up to 100. Because they don't come with a stand or a battery, you'll need to buy those if you wish to use them as portables. There was an ac adaptor included in the package, which worked fine for my use. It doesn't matter whether they are portable or not. It works really well for this application that I use the Fovitec light stand from Amazon. The ones that went out were the only thing that was disappointing because I really like the bright lighting effect. I probably won't use the diffusers that came with it, though. It would be a real bummer if any more bulbs burn out because then I'll really be In the moment, the sun is still shining brightly.
It's great having these lights, although I can't get them to run off batteries for some reason. With these devices you are able to travel to any location, and you can set them up quickly and easily. The red gel diffuser attached to my magnets is what I like the most. By using it, you can easily remove them. And you can change them out for clear diffusers. The light is bright and easy to dim by turning the dial at the top of the unit. I've been able to simplify my life because of them.
In the past, I have purchased 4 different types of batteries recommended for these lights. However, none of them have worked. The batteries are imperative to their use on sets when there are no electricity outlets, and without them, they are worthless. The lights are completely ineffective without the ability to use batteries.
I really like the design of these lights. The materials are solid and the controls for brightness are easy to use. An even light source and good brightness. You get good value for the price. They do an outstanding job for how much they charge. I had a small issue with the order, which was quickly resolved by the seller. It would be recommended.
I like them because they are very I really like how easy it is to set up. There are a lot of bright spots, but the diffuser shields them so that they don't create hot spots, and they provide good.
