It is only compatible with Sony mirrorless E-mount cameras. Cameras are mounted. All of Sony's DSLRs and DSLTs (now all discontinued) received an A-. No adapter exists to allow an E-mount lens to be used. An A-mount lens is a lens that is designed to be used with an A-mount camera DSLR or DSLT cameras can be mounted here.
It's a APS-compatible camera. Not a full frame lens, but a C lens. However, I use it in crop mode on my A7ii and A7Riii cameras. It works great and gives you the same 24mm equivalent 36mm field of view. It's a very good lens.
its a 1. Because it is a wide angle, it lets in a lot of light, allowing you to use faster shutter speeds. I use it in daylight and have never needed stabilisation. It's an incredibly sharp, accurate lens that you'll love; it's my favorite lens for the A6000.

I thought this would be a good buy for my Sony E mount camera after reading a lot of 5 star reviews and seeing some decent photos. The truth is that after taxes, this isn't worth $423. Possibly 200. But not by a factor of two. br>br>Unless you edit it, the image isn't very good. Take a look at the photos below to see how things were before and after. I'm a professional photographer, and this is a terrible starting point. At f1, there is a LOT OF GRAIN. 4, muddy in appearance. For a prime lens, it also has poor bokeh. It has more of an f2 feel to it. Where you should have an ultra blurry background, you can see plenty of detail in the background with an 8 lens. It's adequate for a novice but not for a professional. Other lenses, such as the Canon EF F1, are available. 8 50mm blurs the background completely, costs $100, and can be converted to Sony E mount! I use Fotodoix adapters, and I can honestly say that my results are much better. br>br>This lens does not have the feel of an F1. 4, and so on, until you're photographing at night. Only then can you get a lot of information, which is f1. 4 out of 5 stars It lets in a lot of light, which is ideal for night shooters. It even shoots excellent night video, though without additional accessories, it has a tendency to overexpose a little. br>br>For everyone else, better glass is the way to go. This will overexpose images on a few occasions, add grain, provide no stabilization, and result in poor bokeh. For just $400, you can have it all. This is a good lens for night photography, but that's all there is to it. Unless you enjoy removing a lot of flaws from your photos. br>br>By the way, this isn't ideal for videos on YouTube. The focus ring on the manual focus is excessively large. You can not hold this lens and stay in focus 100% of the time. This lens messed up plenty of My shots due to the absence of a focus locking feature. br>br>It's a typical f1 starter. 4, as opposed to Sony G or Zeiss glass. So, if you want that, just get the better glass. br>br>Good luck, and don't make the same mistake I did by falling for the glowing reviews. In this category, this is a good lens. It's well-made, solid, and has a rubberized ring that provides excellent grip. Although it is large, it fits comfortably in my hand when used with a Sony A6300. For me, the most crucial aspect is: From the center to the edges, it is razor sharp. On the pictures I've taken so far, my copy hasn't shown any chromatic aberrations; I'll need to test it with high contrast dark/bright motives. The colors and contrast are excellent, not too light or too dark. Similar to Rokinon's 12mm f2's neutral contrast and colors. I did some night shots in the streets and even at f1 with the Sigma because it has autofocus and is quick. 4 It has a ridiculously sharp edge to it. Following my disappointments with the Sony 10-megapixel camera, I decided to try something new. The Rokinon 21mm f1 and the 18mm f4 were both very soft. 4 despite a sloppy focus ring (infinity mark) I am extremely pleased with this lens. Imo Sigma stepped in to fill the void with a high-quality, sharp, autofocus, fast wide-angle lens. I have yet to test it for video, but based on what I've seen and read on YouTube, it appears to perform admirably. These are the photos I took with the Sigma 16mm f1 lens. 4 are excellent, comparable to the shots I take with my favorite Sony 28 mm f2 lens. br>Recent changes: br>I put it to the test over the weekend and was very pleased with the results. The small photos here may not show it, but the full-size photos show that the lens is very sharp in low light, even when wide open, and that there are almost no chromatic aberrations at high contrast. A fantastic lens that I highly recommend!.
If you want to do everything, this is the lens for you. This lens is excellent for astronomical photography. The video is clear and has just the right amount of Bokeh when shot wide open. My Sony A6300 now shoots low-light photos and video with ease. It's important to remember that because this isn't an Art lens, your Jpegs will be fine, but your RAW files will require lens profile fixes in post-production.
This is an incredible lens. The best lens for the Sony A6500 without a doubt. It's designed for APSC (Sony a6000, a6300, and a65000) cameras.
Sigma optics are fantastic. The Sigma 30mm F1 is the lens I'm using. 4, as well as a Sigma 16mm f/1 lens. I have four of them and use them interchangeably on my Sony a5100 (which is a surprisingly small but powerful camera package). br>br>Sigma lenses have a good heft and build quality, but their optics are even better. Although they are slower to focus than Sony OEM lenses, they are still fast enough for continuous video recording. Because he's a quick little one, and I don't want blur, the larger maximum aperture allows me to use a faster shutter speed. Also, because of the wide angle, I can get a great shot even if he moves to the edge of the frame before I can get it. He is a lightning fast individual. Hahaha!.
This lens is one of my favorites. It produces stunning images and is incredibly sharp. I needed a single lens for my new A6500, and this one is perfect. It's great for landscape and street photography, and it makes you think outside the box when it comes to portraits. Fast lenses require a lot of glass to get the light they need, so it could be a little smaller. My only real gripe is that I ordered directly from Amazon, and it arrived in a large padded shipping envelope (!). I had to do a lot of double-checking to ensure that the lens was unaffected, but lenses should be shipped in riged boxes with plenty of padding. As a result, I recommend ordering from Amazon through a third-party seller. Get one of those package deals where they throw in a bunch of extras. At the very least, it'll be properly packaged.
The lens is fantastic, and the autofocus is quick. The AF is quick, but not as quick as native Sony lenses for e-mount cameras. mount, but it's a close match. Because of YouTube reviews, I purchased two Sigma lenses (this one and a 30mm). Those YouTube reviews were very accurate. The Sigma lenses are outstanding. If you have a Sony a6500 with IBIS, the Sigma 16mm 1 is a must-have. 4 and 30 mm 4 - Both of these images are razor-sharp. I'd be willing to forego Sony's lens OSS in exchange for these non-Sony lenses. Because of the high image quality and low fringing, stabilized lenses are preferred.
A Sigma 30/50/16 is the camera I'm using. For whatever I'm shooting, the 16 is easily the best of the bunch. The focus is incredibly sharp. This 16mm f/1 lens would be my first choice if I had to attach only one lens to my a6500.
