I was surprised to discover there was no camera in the box when I opened it. do not know why this happened because the box seems undisturbed and the label indicates 1 pound, so I am assuming I received a camera box that's been empty. I called Amazon to report the problem and they just offered me a refund or a credit on my account, so be careful of sellers.
I like that this camera has a lot of functions that are easy to understand. However, I do not like the way the strap gets tangled when the camera is opened. A friend of mine has taken advantage of the low prices and is buying one.
I find that the contrast AF works fairly well for the subjects I shoot (static), however I can see how it could be a little frustrating to use the CAF and not be able to tell if the shot is in focus until you view the image on a larger It is hard to tame the red color in JPEGs as it is by default. Shoot RAW and adjust in post-production, or change the color in camera. In this case though, for $497 for two lenses, it's great value for the money!.

It is a very nice camera, however, after the first day, the battery would not work. As this is clearly a defect, I emailed the seller about getting it replaced. So far I have not heard back from the seller. The fact that you refunded me is a bit irritating, and I may ask for A new battery for the device would cost nearly 70 dollars if it were the battery itself. There may be a problem with the battery charger as well.
