Questions & Answers

This bundle includes a flash that does not work with the camera. Why do you do that?

I was able to mount it on the bar mount that is included with it and it worked perfectly. On the bottom of the Camera, the tripod threads connect to the bar. The Flash is then attached to the bar. Due to it being for a secondary flash, it is going off if your popup flash is on. In theory, you can place the flash behind the subject so that the background of the image will be

This camera is WiFi-enabled, so can it send photos to a smartphone?

It is true. To use the internet, you must set up the WiFi Set a nickname for your camera and use its Wi-Fi features. As a companion translation to the Canon EOS Rebel T7/2000D manual, I highly recommend the Canon EOS Rebel T7/2000D book (for dummies).

Are there any ports where an external microphone can be connected?

An overall good starter kit, though a few of the items are of It was a good way for me to get started with higher end cameras from point and shoot ones, but I wasn't yet ready to spend $1500+ on a new pro camera
4/5

After reading a number of reviews and looking at several other reviews and similar kits, I took the plunge and bought it. camera had a good starter kit, but I did not know how to set the aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc. (I only used auto-exposure, etc. When I was in mode) , I was looking forward to seeing the real thing When I was a child, I always wanted to take photos of everything My new hobby is taking beautiful photos and I'm loving it. I want to make a few comments about I'll start with the bad (and why I didn't give it 2) I noticed an automatic focus button on the camera body, the T7 (1500D in some regions, 2000D in others, but the same camera known by 3 different model numbers), but what didn't hit me was that the hot-shoe lens was the only one I could use. One of the center pins is missing from the shoe. Due to Canon's decision, you have to buy their flash if you want to use the center trigger pin. It is possible to get a Godox trigger model X2T-AF after extensive research Turn on the TTL in your computer and you'll get a regular hot-spot This shoe mount is designed for flashes, and it is also wireless, so you can use other compatible flashes with it. I am not going to spend $300 on this If you are just starting out with your rig, 400 on a Canon flash is way too much. There are plenty of good models out there that will work just fine. I would spend $1500 on a camera body like the Mark series and I would consider $300 a steal. 2) The tripod included in this kit is an absolute The code extends quite a bit, but the code is No tripod will stay upright if you put $500 camera on it. Keep an eye on it or the tripod will fall over. With mine, I didn't have any problems, but if the wind blew, you'd need a new umbrella. This is a good beginner one, but if you're reading this, choose one that is of a good medium grade. Using it as a primary source of information is not recommended. As I tried to take a macro picture, I did not extend the legs of the tripod. If you tilt the tripod downward at a 45-degree angle, it will not hold the camera and will topple WARNING Beware. *
3) The flash that comes with this is quite It is not until you actually use it that they tell you Flash drives like this are designed to be secondary slave slots. A T7 is not available for this rig, which means it cannot be triggered. While the T7 is a good camera, I plan to get a flash with a trigger from Godox to go with it. There are better flash slave bar mounts out there, but the one included with this does have its perks. There is a flash built in, but it is limited by its In the description, it says that I had no idea what this was, and I had no idea what it meant. FLD FILTER IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT. FLD filters are designed to filter out the color change that occurs with fluorescent lights indoors. In spite of this, the T7 compensates for it. Many lenses are already treated with a UV coating - In addition to being cheap, these can be used as a protection for your front lens glass. Chris Bray recommends them, and they are cheap so why not), and a ND8 filter (neutral density The value of FLD filters far outweighs that of FLD filters). In my opinion, the lack of FLD filter was more of a nuisance, but filters are pretty cheap, so I'll just buy one. The addition of ND was a nice touch. Now for what's 1) The camera case is a good way to get started, but it's hard to put everything in it. It's in the process of being ordered that I get a backpack to store these 1) This kit comes with a single lens, and it serves as a decent general starter lens that contains a wide range of focal lengths from 18mm (portraits) to the beginning of the Fast) it sounds like mice or rats are scuttling around in your lens. A stepper motor (STM) is a quick and quiet device. The USM I buy is not the same quality as the USM I prefer. 2) Some of the additional accessories that came with the kit such as the 2x 32GB Sandisk memory cards (a good brand rather than the cheaper (quality unknown) starter accessories that came with the kit from the seller -- 4) An extra battery and a mini- charger There was also a nice touch of a charger (that plugs into the wall or into the car). It will be necessary to purchase an external power connector for operation of the studio. Flashes and diffusers go along with it. It's clear to me in hindsight that I was not a prime member and had been used to receiving my items within a day I placed my order in two days, but it took 10 days to arrive. I assume there was not enough stock available, but when I ordered, it stated it was My daughter's sports events would call for a telephoto lens, so I would have spent an extra $100-$200 on a camera. Lens options are plenty and it is hard to choose. My next buying plan is to buy a telephoto lens, such as a 70-200. The following numbers are correct 300-55 You must use the STM of 250 and a long telephoto lens to take pictures of the moon and stars. Although some of the best lenses are in the thousands, the lower-cost "ok" lenses cost less than $300, so I may try those instead. Those of you who are new to the kit and looking to start with it, here are some things I recommend I recommend getting a good external flash the one that comes with the kit is very basic and doesn't work right
2) I recommend getting a tripod, the one that comes with this kit is garbage. *3) Stop using the Rather than taking a course, you can find ones on YouTube. Each one is 20 minutes long) or a longer Each time I completed a section (total of 10), I went outside to take some great photos. I came home to find that my wife's okra plant was blooming, and I love okra After two days of owning this camera, I was able to take a quality picture. The past few months have not been good to me. He did a good job explaining things and I took further advantage of his teaching. There are other courses as well, but his made comprehension easy because I took a lot of notes. Having no fear of exposure, ISO, aperture, or shutter speed is no longer a concern for me. There are some good tips on how to get photos in low light from him as well My setup is light, but I'm sure others do the same I'm sure others do the same. •4) Get a great bag or backpack for your accessories, you will need it in the future. This was made. 5) Register the camera at Canon, download the software (both free), and pick up a PDF manual. After watching the YouTube video courses above, I recommend reading these. They are quite lengthy, but they are a good follow-up. 6) Purchase It's not necessary to purchase a Canon data cable if you are just going to move the card over if you are going to update the firmware or use the software, you will need one. 7) The neck strap was ok, but I prefer a hand strap that is mounted on the side. Altura makes a good one, I see pros using it, and after I mounted one (about $25), I never intend to use a touristy neck strap again. It's this eye cup (yes it's the way you take pictures in the real world) that sits on the viewfinder of the camera. Please do not use the screen unless you are using it specifically). For less than $10 you can find some on Amazon that do a better job of sealing out light and making it easier to see the image in your Several items can be slipped up and out of the way, then a new one can be added. As a bottom line, to get started I would still recommend someone buy a kit of this caliber, but keep in mind you will have to buy some quality items to counter some of the items in the kit. The camera kit is a good one to get started with, it has all you need to get started. I just wish the tripod and some other accessories were a little better built. Please enjoy the following review of my latest purchase on Amazon. I am a big believer in reviewing things I purchase here on Amazon for others to read, since I use the same research from verified buyers. This is my longest review to date, and I did my best to make it.

The kit is good for getting started
5/5

Though I have several Canon products, I purchased this one as a gift. It is a good starter kit since it gives the person a chance to experiment and learn about photography and the equipment before deciding whether or not they need anything else. It pleasantly surprised the person to receive the amount of items.

I encourage you to go I'm just getting started looking at it all and figuring out how it all fits Digital cameras are new to me, so it will take some time, but I'm looking forward to it

The only thing I've left to do is to make my dream come true. I am 64 years old and decided to do something that I will enjoy and something that I will do as a way of self-expression.

How do you rate this? Do you give it five stars? Over the years, I was searching for a great camera to get the best deal
5/5

And I finally found the perfect one This is an excellent camera at an excellent price, with great customer service! I was going to order from a different seller at the last minute, but then I saw this one and loved it (the price/quality relation). Here are some comments about the accessories bundle (At the end of the day, what matters most is the camera itself and the quality. You could check reviews on YouTube for a better understanding of the camera)

So here are some remarks about the accessories bundle I-*- *- The addition of a battery with an additional charger is from a great brand and is really useful for traveling! I am - The case is good for protecting your camera and has enough space to store all the essentials. I am - There are a couple of lenses that are fine for an absolute beginner* - The SD cards are of good brand as well as offer ample storage. I am - All you need to buy is the batteries for the digital flash. You're receiving it for free so it isn't that expensive. The tripod is pretty basic and cheap. It may present some risk to your camera, but it still is a free gift. There are also other tripod options on Amazon if you believe that it will not be necessary to have a tripod In my country (Costa Rica) I checked prices for this camera and it is going to cost around $575 just for the camera. So $600 in total, just the camera plus $20 for the bag, $20 for the battery and charger, $25 for the extra lenses, $35 for the SD cards. The item was $483. I paid for it. Included in the price are taxes and delivery within 2 days. The order arrived earlier than expected and everything was in good condition! It was basically purchased so that I could change the quality of my pictures from my smartphone to something more "professional". That being said, if you are a beginner like me, this will be amazing and super exciting to have on your device. I will be sure to check back with you again if I need a new camera in the future.

There is no center contact on the Although I like the camera, Canon ripped me off by removing the hotshoe's center contact
3/5

There is no way to use the flash or accessories I already own with that connection, and I have searched for an adapter, but so far no luck. I will likely have to return the T6 and replace it with.

It wasn't too bad
4/5

The SD cards in the kit were the best ones. It wasn't too bad, but I think the best part of the accessories were the SD cards. Wide/telephoto/macro "lenses" are a joke, and they are usually screwed onto the camera. I replaced the tripod after the second day because it was not worth the money. There is nothing wrong with the canera bag, but it has a small strap. I am very happy with the camera, but again, if I had the opportunity to buy the camera alone, I would.
