Questions & Answers

Do you have any recommendations for memory cards that I could use Are there differences in brands and sizes?

You have to think about the type of use you're going to make of It's not uncommon for me to take a lot of photos The final result will also depend on what resolution your camera is set to. A 4GB card should do, but I have also purchased 32 and 64GB cards just so that I can keep most of my photos together. There is no need to limit yourself to one brand of SD card.

Would you mind telling me what is inside Are the Eyecup Ef and Battery Pack LP-included The battery charger E12 is The E12 strap provides a wide neck support The 300D is a good camera, but what else is there?

It is the standard rubber ring used for the eye piece. To get a cup, you have to go to Hoodman. Included with this device are a battery and charger. Taking up about an inch of space, the neck strap is the narrowest of them all. However, the camera and the lens are so light that you do not need a wide neck strap, the one included in the box is fine. It says Canon and EOS across the strap. In addition, the box contains the manual (that you don't need) as well as a CD with software, a USB cable, and a warranty card. The kit lens is excellent. The focal plane is not the fastest, but it is small, light, and has a good image stabilization system. In any case, a heavier setup will result in a front-heavy setup A heavy load. The SL1 and kit lens can be carried around all day without you being aware that they are It is usual for me to keep the SL1 and a speedlite 220EX

What's the biggest difference between this and the T3i? Aside from price and weight, how does this camera differ from the T3i?

Cameras like these are very similar to each other. Here is what the T3i has to offer There is a flip-flop on it With a new screen and a battery with a longer life, the SL2 has the edge. As a result, there are a few advantages to the SL1 that are not present in the T3i (2) It is 30% lighter and smaller than the T3i (and you can carry it all day thanks to its lightweight and small size) (3) It provides continuous automated data collection It does not have a video focus function (which the T3i does not have) The device has three distinct features (3) It has a touch screen for enlarging and shrinking a playback shot As well as (4) a wide range of features You can achieve HDR with your camera. I would prefer to use a newer camera over an older one since the technology is constantly improving the quality of cameras and sensors. Older DSLR releases are considered "old.".

Recording a video involves taking still pictures. Can I also take still photos? Is there a way to get this done besides switching back to the picture mode?

But yes, I understand. A mirror is raised when in move mode. Once you press the photo capture button, the camera will lower its mirror, adjust its focus and exposure, lift up the mirror, and then finally take the shot. Once your movie has rolled, you will proceed to edit it. The recipe will yield about 1 cup There is a 2 second pause in the move sequence (that's a bit The modes do not need to be changed.

This DSLR is ideal for entry-level photographers who require advanced functionality
5/5

My husband and I like to travel a lot so we wanted a camera that we could take with us. During my spare time I am also looking forward to improving my photography, although I won't necessarily become a professional photographer. It is my first compact digital camera. I have owned several others before. The size is so small for an SLR, and the lens is so light. Even though I knew what I was ordering, I was surprised at the size. In fact, I have checked it multiple times as it didn't seem to be loaded in my bag. You won't believe how light it is. The buttons are well placed and easy to use, but it still has all the buttons you need. Despite being small and light, I have found it to be extremely tough, so don't let that deter you from purchasing it. I'm not aware of the concern some expressed about it being too small for them to use. I like how comfortable it is. You may find that getting used to this takes time if you plan to shoot for more than 2 hours straight, and/or have been shooting with a larger camera for 5 years. I like how easy it is to use, how comfortable it is to hold and how solid it feels in my hand. Since I got the camera a few months ago, I have been playing with different settings, shooting various creative shots, and I absolutely love it. As an amateur, I am certainly responsible for any failures. It takes accurate, colorful pictures that can only be limited by my creativity, is easy to handle, produces fast results (not like I take NHL pictures) and can be used at any distance. Macro, landscape, architecture, pets, and portraits are some of the subjects I have shot. My favorite part of this movie is the music. With all the various options, menus and settings, it is an extremely feature rich program. There is no end to the amount of fun I have playing with my amazing photos in a post photo software (name omitted) just to see how amazing they can become. Therefore, they look really impressive straight out of the RAW file for a properly composed image (unless the lighting is off). Also, remember that this is a Canon camera, so you can use virtually any lens that they have ever produced. This video shows Those who shoot video will be able to observe the improved AF Focus and STM lens. I find the video to be amazingly clear, and the AF does a nice job of keeping up with most subjects (I don't shoot NHL or animal scenes at night). It is a tremendous advance over the previous version because it has a touchscreen and a nearly silent lens. In spite of its many shortcomings, it works quite well for all but the most demanding professionals. The cons are I'm not sure how many there are. This product does not come with a stereo mic built in. (the only issue is you need to use an external)
No built-in WiFi (use an eye fi card)

I kept it simple as there are other more technical reviews on the internet. My opinion was that simple usage would be the most helpful to consumers. Make sure you pay attention to the Amazon reviews that are overly technical before you jump to conclusions. The reviewers, sometimes, might not know as much as they claim. They quote inaccurate facts, such as the fact that the camera uses "contrast phase detection" for autofocusing. That's not the case with this one it's older canon. For detailed details of a particular product, read a review written by dpmag, dppreview, camera labs, etc. They will provide accurate information which you won't get from a pseudoprofessional I wish you luck in your hunt. Thanks for finding this useful. Please click yes if you found it helpful! It's a pleasure to meet.

However, it was previously used and is now for sale
5/5

It's amazing how good this camera is! It was used but I bought it a year ago- You can buy something like New with In my original purchase, I bought it for YouTube, but it's a fantastic camera for a wide variety of things. Those of you who despise the fact that the camera does not have a flip out screen may consider downloading the software that comes with the cd. The EOS Utility is one of the things you can download, it allows you to see what your camera sees when you connect your camera With its size and ability to make photos and focus on the laptop, it is even better than a flip out screen. It also allows you to save space on your camera by being able to upload photos and videos straight to your computer. There has been no editing done to the attached photos.

With the Canon SL1, you can take beautiful photographs
5/5

I've had this Canon for the past 7 years now, and it's still the best. My Canon 80d has just recently been sold. With the lens set I have, it's still the Canon SL1 which is still the winner of this photo competition. I love how tiny it is, but the image quality is great. You are best served here if you travel a lot. I am very impressed with the size, smaller than my Panasonic G9 and GX8 professional sets. The reason I choose these cameras is because I am able to get pro lenses cheaper than Canon, which has been my main camera. Although I can't let go of the SL1, I cannot let it go. Do I even need to get a Pro set to get sharp? You might not need it, but sharpness is generally based on vendors. It is the photo that gets published in magazines. I have been using Canon cameras since my first Canon 20D because it processes colors so well and renders sharpness so beautifully. Could you please explain the advantages of using M43 as an alternative? In short, yes. Although I like the SL1 for its silent shooting, foldable screens and more features, when I travel, or more so this year, when I used to travel, I pair it with a sharp 40mm pancake lens for street, landscape, and portrait photography with excellent Similarly, I have recently purchased a 35mm Macro from Canon that is extremely sharp. I am very happy with this purchase. I recommend it to anyone who owns an SL1. As for newer versions of the SL1, I have no interest in them at all. In SL2, 3.

This SL1 is brilliant at what you need it to do as a pro or an enthusiast photographer.

Video? There is no way for me to This should not be filmed. I am not a member of a professional video production team, but I use my G9 and GX8 to produce high quality video. As a magazine and print journalist, I deal with a lot of details. Is it negative? If it drops, its potential for damage is high. Nevertheless, we have to face the facts. A great pair of SL1s can be had for less than Keep it in your hand!.

All the wonderful things that can be done with this tiny camera amaze me
5/5

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered this Canon SL1 package with a 75-mm lens This lens has a maximum aperture of F/4 The switch from my regular Samsung Wifi Point and Shoot to the 6 III Lens was a good decision. This camera can do so much! I am amazed at its capabilities! In my experience, the size is perfect, and it feels as comfortable in my hands as any other one I have images produced by this camera are amazing and look very professional. Then I surprisingly shocked myself when I chose to just take pictures of her while we were playing in the park with my daughter. As I tried the video camera feature I was somewhat disappointed that it would pause the video when I took a picture (in Perhaps it has to do with me not knowing all the features of the camera, but I will learn them. Learning this game is not difficult if you have a fast learning pace. It's highly recommended you purchase the bundle because you'll save money in the long run with it. Include the free accessories as well, and you're good to go! Despite being the most powerful camera I have ever used, I will have many happy years with it. I If you're a photographer, whether you're a pro or an amateur, you'll definitely love this gadget! My pictures taken with this camera using the close-up lens and the 75-200mm macro lens are posted here One with the 300mm focal length.
