I figured it would be okay after hearing all that "for the money" talk, but I was pleasantly surprised. We could see items inside the barn out in the pasture in the pitch black woods out in the country, as well as the barn out in the pasture! That level of clarity shouldn't come at this price tag, I didn't expect it. He can't wait to use it again out in the country. His face lit up while I told him about it and he was amazed. I had a lot of fun with this hunt. It was pitch black (just stars) and I could see deer from approximately 125 yards away. Near fifty yards away I probably would be able to tell who was there. I thought everything was a bit blurry at first. ***IMPORTANT **
