This is a good value for money, but it does not reach five stars due to minor issues For the price, we feel it's a very good product at the right price for its intended use(s)
4/5

My primary purpose for purchasing it is to digitally photograph a few inherited coins I wished to list This camera does the job well, however, the focus is not quite uniform across the entire field of view (good, but not great), as is the lighting. Please refer to examples accompanying this description). Is it worth your time? In short, yes. In light of the negatives, I gave this a 4-star rating (keeping in mind that I still rated it a 4-star It was rated as a four-star rating because the negatives did not lower it to just a two-star rating It consists of It is an item for the road). I noticed that the focus is not quite uniform across the surface of the item I was viewing/photographing. Additionally, focusing is not nice and smooth, but a bit "jerky" as I rotated the camera to focus the lens. The unit is not so bad that you wouldn't want to bother with it, but be aware that it is not a precision instrument that costs several hundred dollars. In my opinion, the instructions are not particularly good. I found a couple of the attachments in this item a bit mysterious in terms of their use as there are many of them, but none are described. Then again, I didn't purchase it for some of the uses listed as possible with this microscope, so it's "nothing lost. " Hell - I don't even know why I bought it! In addition, there is a otoscope in black You could attach a camera to your ear so that you can examine it inside! Heh heh! (Ha ha! It is not narrow enough to reach all the way down into the ear canal, so damage to the ear drum is not Then this might be useful for you if you like looking at ear wax.

Somewhere, the writers have done a good job with the writing. Nevertheless, in other places, it is obvious the writings have not been written by any one with a decent grasp of English. While the warranty for this device is mentioned in terms of what is not covered, I did not locate an actual warranty for it. Although I do not recall finding any actual terms in the instructions (which are almost entirely on the accompanying CD), I believe that they do exist. It is a great feeling to own this microscope (I am running For the price, I think it is a good value for the installation and (again) the price was excellent. For coins, stamps, jewelry, and maybe even for looking at old writing on documents, this would be very useful. Interesting enough, you can even use it as a simple USB camera by holding it at a distance, focusing at a distance, and focusing at a distance!.

Magnifiers like this are great

The update for June 14th is as follows Here is a picture of the attached file. As I was tinkering with the focus, I ended up bending it beyond its maximum. This scope can be held together by just a thin layer of adhesive. In my hands, I was able to separate the outer tube and upper focus assembly. As I pulled the circuit board out, I was careful not to damage it. Those two thin black wires are connected to the ring of eight LEDs on the front of the smartphone, and manage the power. When you focus, you can see the entire circuit board move in and out. In this way, the CMOS sensor gets closer to the lens or farther away from the tube (little black thing next to it). Disassembly voids the warranty, according to the instructions, or at least they mention that disassembly is not covered by the Aside from that, putting it together again is a little tricky. Besides that, while the lens or CMOS is being exposed, dust particles in the air may settle on it. The positive aspect of that is that it is possible to focus farther "out" than the factory setup allows, which means a I was able to get a higher magnification by playing with it, but the picture I got wasn't especially sharp. It's your call. The original review was as follows The microscope is quite nice. The item has been with me for a week. The CD is a nice addition to my collection. It can make all the difference if you choose the right lighting for the situation, but I haven't figured out how to do it. In my eyes, the first light I would like to add would be a gooseneck LED with a dimmer. A bit of side to side movement is evident in the arm An example of side play is boxing. When you raise and lower using this method, there is going to be some play. Due to the focus ring being on the body of the scope, it is noticeable when focusing. With high magnification, anything in the field of view is distracting, as does movement in the field of view. Maybe it's a simple matter of sticking a tiny motor in there and adjusting the focus with buttons on the cord, just like with the light dimmer and remote control for taking pictures. Next time I get the chance, I will take some photos of high magnification and upload them.

Update August Let's just put it this way. I was unable to get it to As far as I can make out, it works with Windows 7 and up. It worked with my working laptop that was running that OS and installed both applications from the CD that was included I purchased a product that looks useful and nice, but it did not accomplish the task it was meant to. Please return the item to me. A brief update A message from Matt, Top Peak, has been received. The satisfaction of his customers was of great importance to him. Another microscope was sent, and this one is also very good. This lovely instrument allowed me to test it. I will be including a video of my test. There are some loose screws in the base of the lens that make it difficult to adjust the focus and zoom. As a result, the image moves a lot at high magnification. To be effective, it must be used delicately. In order to get used to this magnifying glass, I have to get used to it. We appreciate your help, Matt, and you've been awarded 6 stars. Jose Vega *br*.

I was surprised at the quality of the service
5/5

I found it to work better than I expected. As a result, I'm getting sharper pictures at what appears to be a higher magnification than other reviewers reported. There is no electron microscope or medical microscope here, so don't expect that. I recently bought this piece for $80 and it has performed much better than expected, but you won't be able to peer inside single celled organisms in pond water with it. Although you might be able to see a paramecium. If you want something small, you can take it. It will be very clear and clearer than you can imagine, and will appear like the head of a needle with good focus, detail, and clarity. There is only one problem there are no directions. It is up to you how you solve the problem. You should be able to get it going at 30 FPS. For me, 14 frames per second and 50 frames per second are the default. There is also a bit of wobble when focusing. I was very pleased with the results for only investing 80 dollars. I have tested it on Windows 10 with no problems. I'll try to post some pictures as soon as possible.
