It is true that the lens I received and own is made of glass. It's coated and properly threaded. With this lens, you shouldn't have any issues.

There are no complaints about this score of 0. 7 Barlow. Allows you to work with your microscope at a greater distance. I'm thinking I'll go with the 0 instead. 5 Barlow a lot more. (Because I have a long torso, the 0. increases my working distance. ) For me, a 5 should suffice).
Not 5 times. My main issue with the AmScope is that it's difficult to focus with no Barlow reduction, but with the 0. I couldn't focus on objects unless they were flat and on the table with the 5x Barlow that came with the microscope. The 0. I have more flexibility with the 7x Barlow lens. Although it isn't my "always on" lens, it does provide a much wider range of usable distances.
I use it for electronics repair, so I usually go with 0. To increase working distance, use 5 lenses more frequently. I'd buy them again because they're both great lenses.
What a fantastic piece! I can confirm that this will fit on a 2" eye piece for amateur telescope makers and astronomers! To purchase a The cost of flattening 7 fields is around $400, but this is a nice low-cost dupe.
This is an excellent lens. When soldering and removing components with my hot air station, it gave me a lot more room to work with. br>br>As well as being of high quality.
Excellent attention to detail. Beautiful and crisp images.
There were no indentations on the lens's side to hold the locking screws for the scope's LED light.
