I wouldn't call it With the microscope come all the challenges that come with it. This simple microscope was a gift for a six year old and it seems like she enjoyed it when she saw bacteria and onion cells under the microscope. Unfortunately, the phone attachment does not work, and I could not get it to work for more than a few seconds due to the phone sliding. I wanted to mention this for people buying it as a gift for kids I find the glass slides to be the most concerning part. When I think about how tight these containers are, I think children will cut themselves trying to take them.

It's a no-brainer The next time you are in a science museum, try out this microscope. It shows plants, insects, hairs, and skin in amazing detail at a good magnification level, even though it's not a professional one. The thing I can say with certainty is that the microscope is a great one for a kid to own or to give as a gift if he or she likes science, but there are a couple of things There are several reasons to be cautious when handling these slides, including the fact that they are clearly made of glass as well as having sharp edges so if a kid as young as 12 years old intends to use these, caution is required. The eyepieces are also loose once the microscope has been assembled, and there is nothing to prevent them from falling off while transporting the microscope. This could lead to damage to the eyepiece in case the microscope is brought upside down or sideways. When working with the larger lens, the slider platform's height reaches a millimeter or two above the lens bottom when working with the larger lens. Normally, this is not an issue when there is no slider because the lens tip is directly in line with the holes that let light through. However, when there is a slider, this is a whole different story. The lens and slider will touch, and either will crack or if one is going very close to the slider when using the larger lens, he or she must be really careful. Except for that, I cannot find anything negative to say about As a side note, the lights work either with the included charger or with 3 AA batteries. A computer like this would have made me a biologist or scientist if I had one of these when I was 12. It is a pleasant feeling to be able to see beyond what the naked eye can perceive, so anyone with an interest in learning how things work will appreciate it.
