One of my favorite aspects of this microscope is how it takes high quality pictures. I can easily save them on my computer as well. In light of the high magnification level, it is necessary for me to become knowledgeable about preparing slides for higher magnification. The ability to see things on the screen of my computer is very convenient. It is wonderful to be able to see the scale appeared on the background. I liked also being able to adjust the amount of light. The eye-ball magnification notwithstanding, I had a hard time determining how much magnification I would need Now that I understand that, I can look at the three basic lenses as a whole.

I bought it to use for Apologia's biology course at home. I am pleased we purchased this part of the course as my son has shown a great deal of interest. Focusing on the highest magnification is a little hard, but that may simply be because we are inexperienced. Since I can see the image on my computer screen and not through the eyepiece, I like seeing it a lot more than I could see it Since it has performed exceptionally well thus far, I anticipate it will do well in years to come as more children advance to high school level work and use it.
