Our team has been using this microscope almost every single day for the past seven months! To ensure our Monarch butterflies are not infected with disease, we use this test The species Ophryocystis elektroscirrha) before they are released There have only been a few times when the digital camera has been used, since the microscope is powerful enough to see the OE spores without the aid of a Having said that, I have attached two photos taken with the USB camera attachment, one showing a spore free monarch, and the other showing a clear OE colony. Here are a few tips to save money We raised over 500 butterflies this season, so getting slides for each one would be extremely costly, so we opted to use a clear plastic bag instead By rubbing Scotch tape gently on the imago's abdomen and affixing it to index cards, scales/spore samples will be collected (approx.
It's all about the bugs. In order to show what's living in the Wastewater at the plant, we purchased this for tours for kids (and adults). This is the term we use when we refer to the bugs. There are some good guys in the Wastewater Treatment Plant who break down floc. With this microscope, you can see bugs at a microscopic level. In the photo, you can see a stalked citrine He is a decent person. Also, we were able to take video of a Rotifer (she was amazing). Here is a piece of equipment I recommend. I can't wait to show the kids this.
A microscope only allows you to see what's under it from below, so you have to hold a light next to it to see what's under it. The disc on which AmLite is offered for Mac use is not compatible with a Mac (which I only discovered because I accidentally ordered this microscope twice, but from two different sellers, and the other seller included a disk with the order). As for the lenses I received, it seems as though I need to assemble them myself, but I won't bother to see if I can figure out how. My decision to return this (and another one like it) is based on the fact that I need to view the image on an electronic display.
It is amazing how well the images came out. It is absolutely flawless to use software and drivers in Windows 10. There is a great deal of magnification. Top light is the only thing I miss. In any case, the price is not a problem for me. My heart sank when I found out this one had more to offer.
To my nieces for their Christmas presents, I gave them this microscope - they like it - it's great! This is the thing How difficult it is to take pictures is something I did not like. It moves in some cases, so it must be close to your computer before you can use it. I wonder if future models will take pictures more efficiently so the photos can be shared on our phones.
I am pleased with the results so far! This is an extremely intuitive and easy-to-use program that can be setup on a Mac and focused very quickly.
Microbiology is a great field of study to start with!.
My 14-year-old son is a science geek and wanted to make use of this. During the past seven months, all of us, adults as well as children, have used it. It's a great microscope, has great features and is very easy to use.
