The F970 battery plate is compatible with any of the 1/4"-20 mounting holes found throughout the half and full camera cages, as well as the multi-function top plate. The Sony F970 battery's extended battery life can then be used to power your camera with a dummy battery cable.

This one in particular can be used with smallrig or others by simply removing a tiny pin with a screwdriver.

I used it twice before realizing it wasn't working the third time when I removed the battery and one of the contact pins fell out. I'll disassemble it and try to fix it, but it'll probably end up in the trash.

I have one of these and am blown away by the quality of the construction. It's made of metal and has both 12v and 7v outlets. You'll need 2 volts to power your camera and monitor.

The battery solution is ideal

This battery plate, which is mounted on the top of the Tilta half cage, is the best solution for travel kit in my opinion. It doesn't cover the back LCD panel, is lightweight, and comes with a NPF 750 battery that lasts for 1. 5 hours. 2 hours.
