Questions & Answers

Is it possible to wash it?

I walked around with this bag while it was raining and had no problems with it soaking my belongings. I wouldn't go outside if it was raining, though.

Is it possible to purchase an all-weather cover for this backpack, as one is not included?

Unfortunately, this bag does not come with an AW (All Weather) cover.

In addition to my camera, I'm looking for a camera bag that can hold a textbook and a notebook. Is there enough room in the top for a standard notebook?

This bag might not be the right fit for you. I've traveled with this bag and it's great, but a textbook and a notebook wouldn't fit in the top storage compartment. In the top storage compartment, I usually keep snacks. A small notebook might fit, but a full-sized textbook or notebook will not. I hope this information is useful.

Is it possible to purchase an all-weather backpack cover for this one?

Selected User Reviews For Lowepro LP37234-PWW Truckee BP 150 LX Outdoor Camera Backpack, Fits 10 inch Tablet, for Compact DSLR/Mirrorless, Sony, Canon, Nikon, with 2nd lens, Gimbal, Video Drone, DJI, Osmo, Mavic, Light Grey

It's a small creature, but it's a force to be reckoned with The Truckee BP 150 LX strikes me as Lowepro's best attempt to modernize the now-defunct Fastpack 100, right down to its appealing two-tone design
5/5

Design options for tones Instead of the red/black or blue/back of the Fastpack, the Truckee is available in a more subdued two-tone color scheme. gray tones The Truckee 150, like the Fastpack 100, has a top compartment for sundries like a wallet, phone, and a lightweight windbreaker or a pair of headphones (think beats) and a bottom compartment for a small camera (my X100 line camera, filters, spare battery, lens hood, and so on fit perfectly). The Truckee 150, unlike the Fastpack 100, has a tablet compartment (which fits my 9. 7-inch tablet perfectly). 7 (included in the keyboard and case). The tablet compartment, on the other hand, is better placed than on the Tahoe 150. It's at the head of the pack thanks to the Tahoe. The Truckee is in the back, which helps with weight distribution. A small tripod can be balanced in one of the side pockets, which also has an adjustment strap. A small water bottle or glasses case can also be stored in the pocket. I've been looking for a bag like this for a long time. It's small, making it an ideal daypack for street or candid photographers. It's light and airy, making it ideal for a day out. It's a day bag for commuters and others who prefer to always have a camera with them; it's unobtrusive, so it won't annoy museum guards or attract the attention of less savory types. Lowepro, you did an excellent job. br>Recent changes: To be able to carry a laptop, I chose the 200. The 200, like its smaller sibling, works well as a mirrorless camera daypack. This bag appears to be intended for a DCLR kit, based on the description. Buyer beware, as I'm not sure I agree with that assessment.

Perfect ! Finally, I've located the bag I'd been looking for! A Sony A7Rii and a Nikon Coolpix P1000 are the cameras I use
5/5

I adore my Nikon for its superzoom, and I adore my Sony a7rii for its incredible photo quality. I travel frequently and would like to bring both cameras with me. This bag is the final piece of the puzzle. I'm using a Sony A7rII with a 12-inch Sony Xperia lens. In the front pocket, I have a 24mm wide-angle lens and a Nikon p1000. I also have a Sony 24-megapixel camera with me. 240 lens. Both cameras fit in the front pocket, and the lens is stored in the top pocket. In the laptop pocket, I can also fit my 15-inch MacBook Pro 2019 and my 11-inch iPad Pro. br>I have a Lowepro bp 150awII backpack that fits my cameras and lenses but not my laptop, so I've been traveling with two backpacks. br>I also tried the Lowepro Hatchback 250AWII, but there was no place for a laptop this time. Fits both cameras and an extra lens with ease. br>I also tried the Lowepro Fastback BP250AWII, which is great and holds everything, but the bag alone weighs almost 4 pounds, compared to the Truckee BP250LX's 1 pound. 5 empty, but the added weight provides more protection for your belongings. I didn't like the camera slot on the BP250 AWII fastback, but that's a personal preference because I can't get the velcro dividers for the two cameras where I want them. br>I also have the MIndshift Photocross 15, which I like because it holds everything but is heavier and has a side pocket that I find awkward, but the weight does add protection to your equipment. br>Because my husband usually carries the bag for me, I preferred the camera pouch in the front of the Truckee BP 250lx: It's also very accessible. Although not RF protected, there are plenty of pockets in which I can keep my phone and passport. There's also plenty of room for SD cards, extra batteries, chargers, purell, chapstick, reading glasses, sunglasses, a side pocket for a water bottle, and the ability to attach a tripod to the other side. br>br> I love this bag; my only complaint is that it doesn't come in more colors.

(For the 250LX) Excellent value for money
4/5

) Beautifully constructed and presented. There are a few things I'd change, but I'll start with the things I like because this is still a good bag.
1. I admire how much space you have in both the multi-family and single-family homes. At the top, there's a purpose, and at the bottom, there's a place for your camera gear. I was able to fit my Mavic Air, controller, Sony a6300 (body), the small kit lens, a 50mm lens, Rode Videomicro with the deadcat attached, portable usb charger, and an extra lens in my bag. And this is only the beginning. My MacBook Pro 15in and iPad 9 were located in the upper section. 7, a few pens, a Nintendo Switch (in a case with games and small accessories), an iPad charger (wire and plug), a Macbook charger, and a few snacks
2. I liked the look as well as the space. Very straightforward and uncluttered. I didn't want anything that said, "Hey, I'm a camera bag with expensive equipment inside. "
3. Even with everything in it, it didn't feel too heavy. One note on my previous bag. It was difficult to move around because it was so large. This one is ideal for everyday use, as well as shoots and daily clogging. Now for the things I didn't care for. br>1. While it could fit a lot of stuff, it didn't have a dedicated slot for my iPad. It was either a Mac or an iPad for me. The top part of the bag, however, did fit the iPad easily with my switch, but it's not well organized.
2. The bag is only available in white/black, which I like because it is simple and clean. It's not completely dark. So the white stands out a little more than I'd like, but that could be the effect you're after. (This is especially true for hiking. )
3. Last but not least, the straps. It can hold a lot, as you know, but it also has a lot of weight. The straps become quite thin and narrow if you have a lot of gear with you. It also contributes to the minimalist look. They become uncomfortable after a while, but it's not as bad when I don't have my Mac with me. It's just something to think about. It also lacks a dedicated pen slot. )br>br>(It also lacks a dedicated pen slot. ) It has slots for items that are about the size of a wallet, so I just used those. You can also make your own slot by hot gluing one. That's just something I like to do from time to time, lol. )br>br>Overall, this is a fantastic backpack. 4/5 stars, especially given the cost. If it had a slot for an iPad and pens, it would be perfect. I'd give it a 5 if the straps were slightly wider.
